Christmas in the air

Bonnie's POV

I just love walking through the hallways at school during the Christmas season. The red,blue and green lights illuminate the hallway. I went to the gym and saw a huge Christmas tree there, it had snowman and santa bear ornaments. At the top there was a glowing star. I loved Christmas time. When I was walking to homeroom, I smell the Grinch. Foxy came up to me and said hi. I responded with, you look like you are ready for Christmas. He gave me an "are you stupid" look and said sure. Foxy never likes Christmas. Maybe there might a new Grinch this year. Last year Foxy was nominated by the juniors for the Grinch of the year. I wonder who the seniors will pick.

During Algebra Chica gave me a note. I opened the note. It read " Stay away from Freddy." I wrote back "Why?" She finished writing when the bell rung and we went to the hallway. The hallways had red and green lights covering the classroom doors. I asked Chica " So what about Freddy?" She said "Freddy has been in depressing mood, pushing people away from him. He said that he doesn't like the lights and he hates Christmas. Guess we have 2 Grinches this year." I said sarcastically "Yeah." Chica started to laugh. 

We kept walking to Health, we saw Foxy waiting at the water fountain with a simile. I ran up to him and asked  " What drugs are you taking." He said " Nothing Im being happy since I hate Christmas less now since I saw Freddy." Damn Freddy must hate Christmas so much that even Foxy is happy. We started to walk to Health.

At Health the teacher, Mrs. Lolbit was teaching about healthier options to choose for Christmas dinner. Christmas dinner, it is a horrible thought. My dad kicked me out and shunned me after I told him I was gay. He's Catholic.  I just kept listening.

After Health, I saw Freddy at his locker. I went up to him and said "Hi!' He said with a low voice "Hey ready for Science?" I said " Sure why not." We started to walk to class/

Freddy's POV

I asked Bonnie " Why are you so happy?' He said " It's Christmas! Why shouldn't you be happy!?" I said " Cause Christmas is dumb." Bonnie asked "What religion are you?"I told him " Christian and why do you ask?" He responded with " Just to see why you hate Christmas." I was going to tell him stop. But we reach Science before the bell rung. I call that an achievement. 

During Science, the teacher gave us a test. He said it was important so he could see what we learn this year so far. I thought, I didn't know much since I never listen. Actually I knew most of this stuff. I was the last one to finish though. I don't care, as long I get a good grade then I'll be fine. 

The teacher actually graded our test really fast. Before the bell rung, he gave us our test papers back. I got a 98! My first high grade since 8th grade. I felt good, not good as people on Christmas. I am just proud of my grade. When the bell rung, I went to my locker. On the stairs someone dropped their stuff. Everyone stood there laughing. I went up to the person and started to grab her stuff. When everyone left,she asked me " Did you just do that because it is Christmas time." I said " No, i usually don't be nice on Christmas, I just didn't like to see you crying when everyone was laughing at you." She got up with some of her stuff, I gave her the rest of stuff. She asked what my name was. I said " Freddy, yours." She said " Yaimelie." I said " Nice to meet you Yaimelie."

She said 'You too Freddy." I then asked her " Do you want to come over my place for Christmas dinner." She said " Yeah." I gave her my address and she walked off. I went to my locker,opened it,grabbed my stuff and shut the locker. I went downstairs to my car.
