Crush Imagine- Pool Party First Kiss

(y/n) = your name            (c/n) = your crush's name

*Your sophomore year of high school has just ended and  your friend (c/n) has decided to host a pool party at his house to celebrate the start of summer break. For the last year, you have had a crush on (c/n), but you've never had the courage to ask them out, or anyone else for that matter. You're hoping this is the night you have the courage to make a move, and maybe even have your first kiss.*

For the last hour, you and (c/n) have been talking by yourselves, sitting by the deep end of the pool. You and (c/n) have so much in common, and with every minute longer you talk, you find yourself falling for (c/n) more and more.

"I can't believe it's already summer break," gazing across the pool. You see (c/n) move beside you in your peripheral vision. Now there are only mere inches separating you two. You nervously run you fingers through you wet hair. Even though you known (c/n) for years, you still can't bring yourself to look in his eyes without furiously blushing.

"Yeah, I know. I've been waiting for break for so long. School's so stressful. I'm really looking forwards to looking to just doing nothing all day, having a chance to relax for once," (c/n) says, looking over at you.

You splash your feet in the water a little, look up at (c/n) for a moment. He sees you looking a smiles.

"Yeah, I know what you mean," you say, shyly dropping your gaze back to the water.

"The only sad thing is I won't be able to see you everyday," (c/n) says.

You can't help but smile and you feel you cheek flush. Dammit. I'm not even looking at him and  I'm blushing. God it's probably so obvious that I like him.

You see (c/n) turn to face you. "Hey, have I told you yet that you look beautiful tonight?" (c/n) tells you. To your surprise, he's blushing too.

You look away, trying to hide your face. You're smiling though and butterflies are flooding your stomach. You circle your feet in the pool.

"Thanks" you say quietly, still looking away.

Omg I can't believe he said that! What if he likes me too?

"I mean it. You look beautiful. And you're smart, and kind, and funny. And I like you a lot." (c/n) says. He moves his hand and places it on top of your, interlocking his fingers with yours. "I've liked you for ages."

You look up at him in shock. "You have?"

"Yeah, of course. You're so perfect. How could I not?"

Your smile won't leave your face and you lean your head on his shoulder. "Well, I like you too. And I've like you for a while"

You look up at (c/n). His lips are so close to yours. Then he moves in even closer. With your lips barely apart, he says," You know that first day we met. You sat down next to me in chem and I knew I had to have you. I just couldn't gather the courage to ask you out. I never thought you would ever like me back."

To your disappointment, (c/n) pulls back.

Looking around, you see everyone has already left the pool deck and gone inside. The evening has turned to night, but the stars and moon still shine bright enough for you to see. The breeze now carries a chill and you shiver.

"C'mon, let's go to the hot tub," (c/n) suggests as he helps you up and gently leads you towards the other end of the pool. Your hands are still intertwined. He slides into the hot tub and you slide in after him. As you sink into the comfortingly warm water,  (c/n) pulls you onto his lap.

(c/n) gently lifts you down so you're straddling him, one of your legs on either side of his. You're now staring directly into his dreamy eyes and you can't help but blush again.

(c/n) places a hand on your lower back and the other on the back of your neck. You wrap your arms around their neck. You see (c/n) looking at your lips and you bite them. As lean in closer and close your eyes, you feel (c/n) pulling you in and guiding your lips to theirs.

Your lips touch and suddenly everything else falls away. (c/n) moves one of his hand up and wraps it in your hair. He pull you pulls you in even closer and you imagine you can even feel his heart racing as your chests touch. Your kisses grow stronger and more passionate and his tongue gently lines bottom lip. You open your mouth slightly wider and allow his tongue to enter. You can't help but wonder why neither of you never made a move before today. After a minute, you draw back and open your eyes. Slightly out of breath, you smile at (c/n). He smiles back.

"C'mon, let's go inside and find the others before it's too obvious we're gone," You say, blushing even harder than before.

"Fine," (c/n) says with a grin, "but are you sure you don't want to go up to my room. Let them think what they want."

"(c/n)!" you squeal, splashing them with water.

"Ok fine, let's get out. Maybe another day then." (c/n) says, a mischievous smile still on their face.

You squeal again and laugh as he lifts you out of the water. Gently, he lowers you back down onto the ground once you reach the deck. Grabbing your hand, (c/n) leads you inside and once your reach the staircase he turn to you again.

"Last chance. Sure you don't want to go up to my room?" he says, their mischievous smile back again. You give (c/n) a playful shove and pull them down the stairs towards the basement where you can hear the voices of your friends.

"Oh there you guys are," your friend says, "We were starting to wonder if you guys were up to something", a slight smirk on her face.

"Really guys?" you say. (c/n) is standing besides you and you clasped hands are hidden behind your backs.

Your friend laughs and turns back to everyone else. "Let's put on a movie," she says, half yelling to grab everyones attention.

As everyone else moves towards the chairs and sofas by the TV, you and (c/n) look at each other and I smile again. (c/n) pulls you you towards one of the sofas at the edge. You sit on the empty sofa and (c/n) sits down next to you. The lights dim and the movie's soundtrack begins to play. Sighing happily, you lean onto (c/n) and he wrap his arm around your shoulder.

You look up into his eyes, and he leans down to gives you a peck on the lips before whispering into your ear, "Maybe we can find another time to get away from everyone else tonight, and maybe we can do a little more than kiss..."

You smile, "Definitely."

Best day ever.
