Long-Distance Relationships(Xiumin, D.O., and Luhan one-shot)

*Ring! Ring!*

"Yeoboseo!" you called out cheerfully. But instead of hearing your expected boyfriend's voice, you instead heard his bestfriend's.

"Um, yeoboseo Y/N," Xiumin said akwardly.

"Oh," you said, slightly dissappointed that it wasn't Luhan. "Hello Xiumin. Where is Luhan?"

"He's busy."

"Oh. Well, why are you calling me then? With Luhan's phone?"

"He left it out in the open so I called the first person that came to mind."

You smiled. You had never been incrediably close with Xiumin, but you respected him. He was your darling boyfriend's bestfriend after all. You ended up talking with Xiumin for the next hour. It was getting late so you finally ended the conversation. You had never imagined that it would be possible to have such a good talk for so long with someone. Even Luhan or D.O. didn't talk to you that much.

You went to sleep feeling happy. Xiumin said that EXO-M was coming back to Seoul in six months. That was how long you had to wait to see Luhan. Six months isn't that long. How much could happen in six months?

"I can't believe him!" you sobbed into Kyungsoo's shoulder. Your bestfriend hugged you and rubbed your back, letting you get out all your grief.

It had been just two months since your first phone call with Xiumin. You and Xiumin had talked off and on since then. You found that you really enjoyed his company, even if it was just over the phone. Once, he and Tao had even Skyped you. But durning the whole time, Luhan had failed to contact you. Now, you had just found a picture of him and his new girlfriend!

She wasn't even as pretty as you! At least, that was what you thought. It broke your heart that he would do something like that to you. He wouldn't answer your calls or reply to your texts. How were supposed to breakup with him if he was ignoring you?

"I hate him!" you screamed, beating on Kyungsoo's chest, not caring how wet you were making his shirt. He only hugged you tighter. Once you finally started to calm down, he began running his fingers through your hair and sang. You don't remember what he songs he sang, but you remembered thinking that they were beautiful. You wished you could listen to him sing you to sleep every night.

You woke up feeling something warm underneath you. You opened your eyes and noticed that you were laying on top of a sleeping D.O. on the couch. He must've fallen asleep after singing to you. He looked so cute, you just had to take a picture.

You grabbed your phone and hit the home button. The picture of Luhan and that girl appeared. You had forgotten that you hadn't erased that photo. You whimpered, waking D.O. up. "What's wrong?" he asked as he sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Nothing," you lied as you wiped your eyes.

"I know you're lying." He pulled you into a tight embrace. His strong arms just squeezed tighter and tighter.

"Kyungsoo," you gasped. "You're hurting me."

"Sorry," he apologized as he slightly relaxed his grip. He placed his head on your shoulder and you wrapped your arms around him. "I love you, Y/N," he whispered.

You almost didn't catch what he said. It took a good, long two minutes for it to register. You pushed away from him and he looked hurt, but he let you go. "What do you mean?" you asked, almost angrily. Even your own voice surprised you, so your expected Kyungsoo's shocked expression. "We're just friends!"

"I know, and I never told you because I always want you near me. I didn't want to wruin our friendship because then I would never see you again. I'm sorry, it just, slipped! Pretend like I didn't say anything."

You weren't sure how to resond, so you didn't. D.O. soon got up and made breakfast. The two of you ate quietly and then you left. How did you feel about Kyungsoo? He was just the older brother right? You had known him since elementary school. But could you get closer? And if you did, would it destroy your strong friendship? And why so suddenly? Why right after Luhan's secret being exposed?

Suddenly, your phone rang. It was Luhan. You hesitated, but eventually answered. "Yoeboseo."

"Hey, um, Y/N. Listen, I um..."

"No need to lay out your excuses. It's over. I'm done. Don't ever talk to me again."

"But Y/N!" He was cut off by someone over there. That someone was yelling at Luhan for is stupidity and his disrespect. You recognized that crazy voice as Xiumin's. And even though you were crying, you smiled through the tears just thinking about Xiumin defending you.

"Y/N," Xiumin said.

"Yeah."

"Don't worry about him. I won't ever let him hurt you again. I won't ever let anyone hurt you again. Consider me your guardian angel."

"Thank you oppa."

*Four Months Later*

You were so excited! EXO-M was coming back to Seoul today! You weren't going to see Luhan, but instead, you were going to see Xiumin, who was now your boyfriend. It was crazy what could happen in just six months!

As far as Kyungsoo, he was driving you to their dorm right now. You had both tried dating, but discovered that it would never work out. In a happy way, the two of you broke up and now D.O. was with the girl of his dreams! Oh! And you were still both very close friends.

You got to the dorm and you hopped out of the car, not even waiting for D.O. You ran into the building and up the stairs. You skipped the elevator since you were deathly afraid of them. You found their dorm and knocked on the door excitedly.

Kris opened the door. He smiled widely at you and wrapped you in a strong hug. You giggled and hugged him back. You went from member to member, getting hugs and giving them. When you got to Luhan, the room got suddenly quiet. You thought a moment, and hugged him. "I forgive you," you said.

"Does that mean?"

"No." He frowned and then he smiled. He gave you another hug and you giggled. Then you heard someone clear their throat behind you. You squeezed your way out of Luhan's embrace and turned to see a frowning Xiumin.

You had waited for so long. You didn't care what anyone thought. You rushed to him and firmly pushed your lips against his! The kiss only lasted for a few seconds, but when you pulled away, you both blushed due to the rest of the boys clapping and cheering. Xiumin was worth waiting for. You had never loved anyone more.
