After that Peacock had become very careful about how he acted as he knew he was standing on thin ice. Peacock Topaz was the 3rd strongest Topaz. This meant he didn't get his own pearl, unlike the top 2 Topazes. The highest Topaz, Imperial Topaz's pearl was rather rude and quite frankly stupid in Peacock's eyes. She had heard about the "incident" with White Diamond and, due to her hatred of peacock Topaz. Her intentions were to get Peacock to lash out of do something stupid and get him shattered. So, after about 2 months of trying, the pearl finally got what they wanted. Peacock lashed out, but it wasn't how the pearl had wanted.
Peacock's infuriating anger lashed out, and he summoned his claws. But this time, they were yellow, and they looked slightly different, by he still had his anger and he took it out on the pearl. With the yellow claws, one swipe destabilise the pearl. He then bubbled the pearl and tossed it into the abyss.
He summoned the weapons again, but they were normal, green.
He knew what he had to do was not going to be easy.
