journey - Why dont we

Hi I'm Sam, I'm gonna tell you a little about myself.  I'm 16 from Los Angeles California. I live with my mom in LA and my dad lives in Vancouver Washington, I go and stay with him every summer. I love to sing, I do it 24/7.  When I was 10 I was diagnosed with Leukemia, but by the age of 13 I was cancer free. When I had cancer I really didn't think I was going to make it, it was the 3 years of hell, at least that's how I think of it. I had a constant fear that I wouldn't wake up the next day. But now I'm 16 I kicked cancers ass and I'm now doing what I love the most, singing. 

     Everyday I broadcast on a app called younow where I sing and I just hang out. I have about 800k and I'm forever grateful. I don't really talk of younow at my school even though I'm sure kids from my school know I broadcast. I wasn't very social at school, kids were judgemental so I never talked about social media, Younow was where I felt I could be myself without being judged.
    Of course no one likes school, but I hated it. I was never book smart, I just didn't understand some thing and that was okay. I had a loving family and a best friend. I wasn't one who had a lot of friends I really just had one, which I was okay with. Her name was Kyla. We have been best friends since we were in preschool, and since that day our parents dropped us off we instantly became best friends. Kyla also broadcasted on younow and she had about 50k she was known for being funny, she is truly one of the funniest people I know. She was dating this guy named Jonah who was known on younow also. They have been dating for 6 months, people refer to them as the power couple of Younow. I always wondered when I was going to find someone, being a 3rd wheel got old after awhile. I had my eye on this guy... let's refer to him as the Younow guy. I was almost certain he didn't even know I existed.

Never did I ever think the Younow guy would end up being the one I called my first love. This was OUR journey.
