Everyone knows or hears about that one kid in school that stands out more than all the others. The one that's slightly off and everyone knows it. So, they stand back.
In this case, this kid was named by the school and themselves as "Jay". No one knows where they came from, or even what school they actually went to. Hell, they didn't even know what gender they were, let alone what they sounded like.
There were rumors, and secrets about them that no one could even begin to prove.
One person said they don't have a home, another stating that they're blind; yet someone else could say they can't speak. Someone else could say that they have everything you ever needed in their backpack.
The only thing anyone ever knew was they went to the joined school of Astro-Galacta with everyone from a set of 7 schools.
Regardless, no one knew the truth. That is, until two boys happened to stumble into their class... With Jay as a classmate.
