Ch. 1 The Cave

Ok just to let you know this is kinda like sword art online. Just not the same, only the same with how it is virtual. And maybe some other stuff you'll find out. 👍

-------------------Rachel's P.O.V------------------

I was just a 15 yr old Freshmen in High school. I went to the park to meet my boyfriend Joe. Until I see him making out with a girl named Bella, literally the 'popular' girl at our school. I was expecting that he was cheating on me, he was acting very weird the past few days. Plus some relationships don't last long when your in high school. I lived in New york, so there is a lot of people here.

I saw him but he didn't notice me so I just walked a little bit away from him. I walked towards the woods, looking back every now and then to see him and her. Beleive it or not me and Bella used to be friends back in 5th and 6th grade. Now im just the girl who has only 4 or 5 friends who sit at a table in lunch talking about the Greys Anatomy episode last night, or the Once Upon A Time episode on sunday.

I kept walking in the forest, until I see a squirrel. So I follow it, and run into a Field full of flowers. The sight in front of me was so beautiful, that I could barely put it in words. I lay on the soft grass trying to get the thought of earlier out of my mind. I close my eyes and let the flower scent come to me. I open my eyes and hear squeaks I giggle at whatvim looking at and get up. It was the squirrel again so I started following after it.

The squirrel led me back into the woods and the scent of nature entered my nose, Letting the flower scent leave.
The squirrel had ran up a tree so just kept walking until i spot a blue pen. That was not normal, i go to pick it up it was a pretty sea blue color. I turn around with the pen in my hand, it vibrates and a ligt turnd on it making the pen glow. When i spin around it turns off, i turn back in the direction where it glowed. It turned on and vibrated again, I follow the direction it was glowing. I wasn't paying attention to where i was going, just staring at the pen while walking until it stopped. I looked up putting my hand up on my forehead to block the sun from my eyes. I see a cave oppening that i feel like i need to go into. I walk in using the pen as a light, because it started glowing again.

I kept walking through the cave, then i stoped because there was a wall with holes shaped like pens. I look around and find a hole that was painted blue, not just any blue the same blue as my pen's color. I raise an eyebrow and saw if my pen would fit, the pen fit and it glowed brighter so i steped back a little bit. A big stone block moved over to reveal a hole that i suppose im supposed to go in. Me being the dumb self i am i go to the mysterious hole, and go in it. I slide down the hole for about 30 seconds and stop at the end. I get up, and dust myself of from the dirt that was on the floor. I look around very observantly it was a cave with circles on the floor with colors like my pen. There were two other doors on each side of the room, which led to rooms with more circles on the floor. Im guessing I need to get on the blue one, so I walk over and stand on the blue one just like my pen. I stood on it to see what would happen, and the next thing I know im falling. I was falling for about 45 seconds this time, and fall into water. I swim up to get a breath and find where I am supposed to go.

I swam over to the floor and see a blue button. "Not another mysterious clue to whatever this place is, ugh" I say when I see the button. I go and push the button and then all i hear is "Welcome I see you have been chosen to be a player in The Virtual Game". "The what?? I just saw this pen and i thout it was pretty, and i followed the glow and it led me here, sorry what is this place exactly?" I tell the voice. "This is the place where most players get chosen, you got chosen so you get to choose your player sticker, what you look like in the game, whatever you want you get to chose tomorrow down here." the mysterious voice told me. "Look I didn't sighn up for this, I will just be on my way" I said to the voice. "Just come here tomorrow and I will explain more please we are in desperate need for more players, I will also tell you your fist mission as a player... Just come back tomorrow, and bring you're pen". The voice told me as I walk out of the cave starting to walk home.

I will now be updating 1 chapter of this story every Friday, if i can. I promise, I am actually liking this story and im the author. I promis i will try to update on Fridays.😊😄😜
