"This war has been going for far too long!" Olivia Rosen slammed her fist down onto the table, startling everyone around it. She was generally a calm and peaceful person, until you got into battle with her that is. So the sudden violence had startled them, but not surprised them. She was right after all, the war between Derse and Prospit had been raging for over thirty years. It had begun when a rogue Dersian assassin had killed the Prospitien queen. Derse had tried multiple times to make it known to prospit that they had not wanted their queen dead, but Prospit would not listen. It had mostly been a bunch of small battles between the two countries, but the most recent move played out by Prospit had sent Olivia into a rage.

"We are more than well aware of that Olivia, calm down." Dave Strider shot her a look. He had known her since she had first arrived at the castle eight years ago, when Dirk had brought her and her twin sister to the castle, and knew how she felt about the war, better than anyone here.

"They signed a treaty, Dave. We ended the war. What else are we supposed to do? The queen is dead, Dave. Dead!" Olivia slammed a paper down on the table, her silver and honey-brown ring clicking on the table through the paper. She then sighed and sank into her chair, burying her face in her hands.

"Let me see that." Dave leaned across the table and took the paper from where Olivia had slammed it down. He studied it carefully, ignoring the mark left by her ring.

"It was a mistake Olivia! A misread order by the assassins!" Dirk Strider tried to protest to Olivia, crossing his arms and frowning.

Olivia glared back at him, her golden eyes flashing angrily, "Mistake? Mistake?! How does not one but two assassin's misread an order?" Olivia slammed her hand down on the table causing everyone to jump again and leaving a small black mark from her ring. Dirk glared back at her, like he was going to say something else, but Dave cut him off.

"Olivia, did you read this? Like really read this?" Dave looked at Olivia over the papers he held in his hand.

"...Why?" Her eyebrow twitched and her aura seemed to turn dark. Feferi Peixes, who was sitting next to Olivia, placed a hand on the angry girls arm in an attempt to calm her down. Olivia jerked her arm away and shot her a glare.

"This doesn't take hold until two months after we surrender," Dave explained to her gently.

"Give. That. To. Me." Olivia snatched the papers from Dave's hands, and studied it, her eyes darting frantically back and forth over the section of writing Dave was referring to. Seeing it she sighed and slumped in her chair, "Fuck my life..."

Suddenly there was a flash of white light, and a brown haired boy appeared behind Olivia, "Sorry I'm late! Still working on controlling my warping, hehe" Aki Kiba laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back of his head. His sudden appearance startled Olivia, and she cried out and fell out of her chair. She then proceeded to look defeated on the floor. Aki removed one earphone and looked down at Olivia. "Oliv? Are you okay?" When he received no reply he poked her with his shoe "What's wrong with her?"

"War" Sollux Captor said in an annoyed tone. He sat with his arms crossed, he didn't want to be here, nor did he think he had to be here, but Olivia insisted that all the Nobles and Royals come unless they were sick, so he had to be here unless he wanted to deal with Olivia rants later in the day.

Aki nodded understanding what Sollux meant, he bent down and looked at Olivia "Hey, wanna get up?"

Olivia looked up at him thoughtfully for a second before sighing and nodding. She climbed back up into her chair and looked around the table at the people sitting there. To her right was Feferi Peixes, then Sollux Captor, Aradia Megido, Eriden Ampora, Nepeta Lejion, a vacant chair, Aki Kiba, another vacant chair, Dave Strider, a dusty chair, Dirk Strider, and then one final empty chair, also dusty. Olivia looked between the two dusty chairs, Roxy Lalonde and Elizabeth Doxen... the gold-eyed girl chewed her lip slowly. They were gone, two years now, and no one has touched their chairs since that day...
