The Concert

My name is Christie. I live in a small apartment in Denver Colorado. Not much to do unless you have tons of friends. I came from an abusive family when I was growing up. I could never get close to anyone. My mom was a prostitute and my dad was an alcoholic. I was always beaten and yelled at for the most stupid things. My mom tried her best to be a mom, but with all the yelling she was gone a lot of the time. My dad was always home screaming at me about something. I've never really had a boyfriend like I said I could never get close to anyone, But I hope the day will come when I do meet someone.

I put my Journal away and walked down to the little field were I always go to get fresh air and think. I sat under one of the dead trees and looked at the stars. "Fuck my life." I sighed. I got a text for one of the only friends I have, my little sister. "Hey were are you at I have something to show you!" the text read. "Jesus what does she want to show me now?" I got up and went to my car.

I showed up at the apartment and went inside. "What is it you want to show me?" I asked sitting on the couch. "We are going to a concert tonight!!!" She shrieked with enjoyment. I raised my eyebrow. "What kind of concert. It had better not be one of those dumb ones at the bar." "No silly we are going to see Avenged Sevenfold!!'' "What!! Were the hell did you get the tickets?" I jumped up from my seat. "Well I was talking to someone and they had tickets for cheep." She smiled "How cheep?" I raised my eyebrow at her again. "Thirty bucks each!" "Damn that's pretty good considering its Avenged Sevenfold." I smiled back at her.

"Well you should go get ready the concert starts in two hours!" She pointed to my room. I ran, put on my makeup and brushed my hair. "I'm ready lets go!" I yelled as I grabbed my keys and opened the front door. We waited for about twenty minutes. before we went in.

The concert was one of the best nights of my life. "That was amazing!" my sister screamed as we were walking back to my car. "Yeah it was. man those guys are insanely hot." I whispered to myself. "Hey!! come here." I saw a weird looking guy walking up to me.
