   The Bath of Mortem

"What the..?" Colleen glances towards Alma and George that were staring at her without emotion.

"I guess we found another one." George says with multiple voices. His own, Alma's, and another one that Colleen could not figure out. Colleen, in a panic, rushes down the stairs while George and Alma were chasing after her. She quickly runs to the bathroom she was once in from last time. The oder was stronger and she can scent it throughout the entire bathroom.

Colleen slammed the door and locked it. She heard banging and clawing at the door. Roars of threats, mercy, and cursing is all Colleen can hear from the other side of the door. A loud pound made the door flinced and the bathroom walls shook. Colleen gasped and walk backwards until she can feel the walls of the bathtub.

"Don't let me die." She prayed. "Don't let those creatures who swelled up my friends break through the barrier."

Ashley can hear the loud banging and scratching noises outside of the room. She shook in fright as the roars grew louder sounding inhuman.

"What are we going against?" Ashley cries silently. "Why did we do this? Let's hope I die quickly rather than becoming insane."

Dustin listening closely to the noises outside of the room while lying down within large self. Who are they roaring at? Dustin questioned in his mind. And who is doing the roars?

Colleen shook in terror. The pounds didn't retreat. It's either getting killed from her so called friends or going mad. She finally snapped and sneered: "Calm down, you crazy bull!" Everything went silent... Too silent.

Next, she felt something wet grabbed her leg. She gasped and looked down to see a hand covered in the liquid from the bath even claws. She jerked her leg to break free from the grip, but it was too strong. Then another hand came out of the water and grabbed her other leg.

"What the heck is this?" Colleen panics silently. The hands immediately pulled her back leading her to fall in the bathtub full of horrifying smelling liquid almost hitting her head. Colleen was paralyzed by fear. She wanted to scream and call out for help, but she knew that her possessed friends could be on the other side of the door.

She felt the water moved and a cold draft began to roam the room. So cold that Colleen can see her own steamy breath. Goosebumps appeared on her skin. Colleen looked to her side to see a little boy covered in the liquid that almost smells like blood and muck. His eyes were completely black only his pupils shined into the darkness and staring down at her.

Colleen now wishes that she did not have good night vision. She just stared intently into his pupils ignoring what he looks like and what he's covered in.

"No mommy, I don't want to take a bath." Colleen heard the boy spoke. His voice was cracked and raspy. The irony, the voice has innocence like a child.

"I am not your mommy." Colleen exclaims creeped out. "Why did you pulled me into the tub? You know that was rude of you."

The little boy let out an earsplitting scream. Colleen jolted and kicked him in the stomach making him fall down.

"What kind of monster are you?" The little boy asked. His voice sounded deeper and cold. Colleen felt a shiver driven up her spine. The air drew colder around her making her shiver. "Do I have to repeat myself?" He asked in a dark tone.

Colleen was too afraid to speak. She just looked at him while he got up. "I am not afraid of monsters." He growls at Colleen. "Because you know what happens when I see them?"

"You s.s.snuggle up with your m.mama and daddy in their b.bed?" Colleen guest nervously. She never had been so scared in her life. More scared when she heard about a shooter on the loose.

   "No!" He growls darkly.

"I"

"Kill"

"Them!"

The boy launched upon Colleen grabbing her neck. She screamed as she was pulled under the liquid. She closed her mouth shut to prevent that liquid of death from flooding into her mouth. Colleen can't barely imagine the taste of it. She couldn't see the boy's face, only his hands  which she was being choked with. Colleen's eyes rolled back into her head and the remaining air from her lungs exhaled into oxygen bubbles.

"Wake up." She hears a cold woman whispered. Her eyes shot awake. Colleen seemed to be alright. She realize she was in an empty bathtub fullied clothed. She got up and head outside. The moment she went outside. The walls and floors were black. Colleen looked around and her surroundings turned into only darkness and she finds Alma and George sitting by each other. Colleen remembered Alma and George chasing after her and roaring at the door cursing at her to come out.

"A..Alma, G..George?" Colleen stutters. Nothing happened. "Alma, George?!" She called out louder. They didn't even pay attentiom to her. Colleen walked closely to them. They finally gazed her with a frightened look.

"Are you guys okay?" Colleen asked.

"We shouldn't played this...game." Alma spoke with a raspy tone. She looked pale even George. Colleen holds Alma's hand, but Alma quickly snatched her hand away.

"Your hands feel cold as death." Alma whispers.

"Uhhhh.." Colleen said while touching her cheek. Her cheek felt icy cold. "Why are we surrounded by this void?"

"Welcome to your new home, Colleen, darkness." George hisses.

Dustin eyes began to drift as things started to quiet down he assumes. He shot himself trying not to fall asleep because he might not wake up again. Dustin took his phone and read the time, 1:01 am.

Just nap. He thought. To save a bit more of energy.

Dustin closed his eyes and let himself drift slowly unaware of the footsteps wandering around in the hallway on the second floor.
