CHAPTER 9
MERCEDES' POV
After Hayes left I walked into Brent's room, he was on Pyper's phone.
"Brent?" I said
"Yeah?" He said
"Are you okay?" I asked
"Uh yeah, I guess but, uh, I mean-" he stuttered as I cut him off
"It's okay, I don't expect to you be fine with this," I said with a fake smile
His eyes started to get filled with tears,
"I wish I would of spent more time with her before she... And what are mom and dad gonna say, and Matt, this is gonna kill him.. And she liked Nash, and Nash's new girlfriend, he texted her about her, but she liked him and ra-" he said crying, I cut him off again
"Don't say it, this isn't Nash's fault!" I said sternly,
Nash ran inside.
NASH'S POV
I was walking with Alyssa when, I saw something that looked like a girl, she was crying, to be honest it looked like Pyper, then I saw those red curls and I knew it was her. I bursted into tears, I ran to Mercedes' house and went inside.
"MERCEDES, BRENT!" I screamed so loud Hayes could hear,
"What?" She asked running downstairs.
"Pyper, she's, shes" I barely said trying to catch my breath.
"I know she's gone." Brent said walking downstairs.
"No, she's not!" Once I said that Mercedes bursted into tears and ran next door.
Brent just stared at the wall,
HAYES POV
"HAYES HAYES HAYES!" Mercedes screamed knocking on my door repeatedly.
"Hey," I said as she hugged me,
"Come on." She said pulling me out of my house.
Once we got to her house Nash told us what he saw. Him and Brent went to go find her. I didn't believe Nash because they found her body! Right? I mean the police called us and said they found her, but did they just find another curly haired ginger who went missing in her California Cheetahs cheer uniform?
"Mercedes?" I asked
"Yeah?" She said
"Do you think they will find her?" You could tell she didn't wanna answer.
Right before she could talk Brent walked in and hugged Mercedes.
"Uhh Brent, you okay?" She asked as he just smiled.
I looked at the door and knew why he was smiling
"PYPER!" Mercedes screamed running up to her sister in Nash's arms
"MERCEDES!" She yelled hugging Mercedes. It only lasted a few minutes until Mercedes got mad.
"What the hell were you?!" She said angrily, she's so cute when she's mad.
"I was.."
