Dirty Dancing (Jedward fanfiction)

Chapter 1: I thought I found the one

We have just done an audition and we're waiting for the results. I've wanted to do this for so long. I always wanted to be a professional dancer. I've got the chance to dance at concerts.

I see someone walking in our direction, he must have the results. finally!!

I'm feeling very nervous, the moment where I have been waiting for all day has finally arrived. The person opens an envelope and everybody is silent now. "You all have danced really good but only one person can win" he said. "And the person who won the competition is..." okay hurry up!!

"(Your full name)"...

"(Y/N)!!, can you repeat what I just said?" The whole class was looking at me and of course I could not repeat what my teacher said. "No sir, because I didn't understand what you just said." "Well it is advisable that you pay attention to my lesson if you want a good grade." he said. So I tried to pay attention to the lesson, but it was too hard. It's Friday, and I'm having my last lesson. I have been looking forward to this day for so long, it feels like I'm getting sick of it. What if it goes wrong, like my leg would be broken or something. Maybe they don't like me at all... 

This afternoon might be the most important experience in my whole life. Finally, the bell rang! I start packing my books when someone taps my shoulder.

"Hey, (Y/N), are you okay?'', Joey asks. I didn't know what to say, he is so gorgeous! ''Uuh, yes, thanks Joey.'' ''I was thinking, do you fancy to go to the cinema with me tonight??'' Joey said. I start blushing, I have always had a little crush on him. So I really want to go, but I have to go to my dance school tonight. I dance at one of the biggest dance school of my country, and for the first time, I have to do an audition because a Pop duo is looking for one really good dancer. So then you have to dance at their concerts. I've heard they are not really well known around the world yet. And I have heard they're Irish twins. This will be the big change!

"Sorry, I would really like to go with you but I've a really important audition tonight." I said. Was he disappointed now? Oh no, this is pretty awkward. "Well maybe we can go another day, just call me when you're free." Joey said, still with some kind of sadness on his face. "Yes, I will! Bye Joey!'' Oh stupid me, why did I say that? 

Sabrina is waiting outside, she really need to know this! She knows that I have a crush on Joey. She looks a little excited at me, so I guess she saw me talking with him. "What did he say to you?!" She asks me curiously. She seemed even more excited than me. "He asked me if I wanted to go to the cinema with him tonight." One look tells enough, she knew I have that important audition, but she will also kill me if I tell her I cancelled the date with Joey. "I hope you said yes, because you like him for a long time now and you can't ruin this chance!!" she says. I look a little unsure at her and look her in her  eyes.  "Don't tell me you rejected him?!" "I didn't want to but I have that audition tonight, and I have to take every chance I get, maybe I can finally get a job." I said. She nods. I can see she understands, but she is not done. I see Joey a few meters away from me, he is putting some books in his locker. For a moment I feel sorry for him, and wished I never had to do that audition. 

I look back to Sabrina, she grins. "I think I've got the perfect solution." I look at her questioningly, if there is something what can make me happy right now... "What is it?'' was all I said.

"Just ask him if he wants to go with you to that audition." she said. I thought for a moment. How will I be able to dance with him looking at me? But I really want to spend some time with him. "That's a really good idea!" I said. "thanks" I run outside the school and I could see Joey getting his bike. He was about to cycle away. So I run as fast as possible.

When I reached him, I was out of breath. Joey was looking at me with a weird expression. "Would you like to go with me tonight? So we can spend some time with each other?" I hopefully said. He began to smile immediately. Well, that can only be one answer... "of course I want to go with you tonight! Shall I pick you up at seven??" "yes, see you then" I said. I'm so happy right now, I just can't wait for tonight!! Hopefully the night which is going to change my life forever.
