Do you regret meeting me? (Levixreader)

chapter 4 -A job request.

Its been a few months now since me and isabel joined Levi, Farlan and the others in the underground thugs.

Isabel and levi have gotten really close, for some reason tht bugs me.

the ODM gear is so fun to us, i feel like im flying though the air!

we are on our way back home and we found a strange looked man outside our house, he was wearing a dark grey trench coat and a hat, he has grey hair and a moustache, he seemed way to posh and sophisticated to be from the underground but what would someone from the surface want down here.

isabel was walking with her hands behind her head,

"what's the deal old man, you want something?" she shouted without hesatation,

"but i have a job requet for you,"

Farlan smiled at the  stranger,"  I think you have got the wrong house, this is not a handyman shop"

the strange man refuse to move, "I promise a reward"

Levi became impatient, "go home!"

we walk straight past the man, as we did so, we called after us, "but I've already paid the deposit,"

we all turned back to face the man, Farlan responded to his statement,

"your kidding right, this is the first time we have seen you!"

"yes but you must have known about your friend," he point to one of the member of our team, its was Jan, "as the deposit for this job we are taking your friends to a hospital on the surface to treat him, as we know his leg has reached its limits, isn't that right Levi?"

I heard Levi click his tongue.

"you will listen to the details now wont you Levi

I looked at Levi to see his response to this stranger's offer.

"Fine, we will!"

I looked at him shocked, but deep down I knew he did it for our friend.

the man ginned slyly, "follow me then"

time skip to the top the stairways to the surface.

why was this man takin us to the surface?

as we reached the top of the stairs I felt a breeze blow though my (h/l) (h/c) hair.

we arrived at the gate to be greeted by the blinding light of the midday sun, I squinted my eyes, and so did the others, to see what was at the top of the gateway, as we looked we saw a carriage, within the carriage was a shady looking man,

"are these the 4 you told me about?" I heard him say in a low husky voice,

"yes sir, I hear they are very good" responded the man who lead us here.

"excellent..."

Levi was the first to release his hand from his face,

"who the hell are you?"

the man in the carriage chuckled, "I understand that you are weary of me, but I assure you that you can trust me, the fact I am here says everything, I'm at a great risk, just by being here...."

we all scowled at the stranger...

"I understand you have already received the deposit?"

farlan shouted at the strangers, "I don't know how things work up top, but in our world that's called taking a hostage!"

the old man remained unfazed by what Farlan just said, before replying to his stamen, "this is just a plan we have put into place, however when you do complete the job, you wont only get a huge sum of cash, but also... a citizenship for the surface."

I felt my jaw drop, can we trust what he is saying, I looked across at my friends to see their reaction to be the same as mine.

If we do this job we could get to have a better life, get away from this place.

Just like the bird we set free, the day I met Levi.
