Another day at school but this day was like no other. I was walking with Hugo down to the hall to learn some defences . When we got there Sir Reynold was talking about a competition in school about becoming the best student at sword fights. As I was the best one in the village this can't be harder than that. I noticed Hugo steal a glance at me then I returned the favour with a mischievous smile . Our teacher told us to go and practice with another pupil to get a feeling of what the competition will feel like. Of coarse I chose Hugo .

By the time the semi finals arrived me, Hugo ,James and Zandar were left. I had to face Zandar and Hugo had to face James. Bad luck for Hugo. I bet James is really mad at Hugo now. Luckily I had won and so did Hugo. I kicked Zandar in the face with the wooden sword which put him to the floor.

The competition ended James got 3rd place I got 2nd place and Hugo got 1st place. I walked up to Hugo and said "congrats Hugo ,well done."
