Chapter 2 - Old friends

That was when the unexpected happened......Luke kissed me.

The kiss was sweet, it was like one of those kisses from a movie, the two lovers that kiss underwater. We pulled away and we swam up to the top. "DANI WE NEED TO GO HOME!" Ben yells. Sophia was already out of the water and Ashton was coming up next to us. "Dani are you OK?" Ashton asked. I nodded and swam to the edge of the pool and got out. I pulled my shorts back on and we left the pool.

Sophia had to go home for some family thing and Ben went to play some video game. I climbed up into my tree house to think. I didn't think Luke liked me that way and I'm not sure if I like him that way yet. Things might become really awkward between us. I wanted to talk to someone about it but I don't know who to talk to. I would call Sophia, but she is busy with her family and I don't really know the boys that well yet.

I was still thinking when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I looked to see who it was but just a number flashed across the screen. I opened my phone to see that it was Calum he must have gotten my number from Luke.

Hey what happened between you and Luke today? He seemed really worked up.~Calum xx

I texted him back saying

Hey you can come over and we can talk about it. I was looking for someone to talk to anyways. Meet me in my tree house.

I didn't get a text back, but I assumed that he was coming over. I walked over to the window that over looked Luke's yard to see him sitting in the grass talking to Ashton. Luke had his back to me but, Ashton looked up and saw me. He waved and Luke started to turn around but I ducked down before he could see me. "Who are you hiding from?" Calum says causing me to scream. "Fuck Calum don't do that!" I say pushing him. He laughs and sits down across from me.

"So what happened between you and Luke? Ashton said that you ran off pretty quick and Luke wouldn't say why." Calum says. "Well we were swimming in the pool and when we went under one time he kissed me" I say trailing off. "And is that a bad thing?" He asked raising a eyebrow. I shrugged "I don't really know I mean I don't really know if I like Luke or not yet" I say, laying down on the floor. Calum lays down beside me and says "Luke just met you yesterday and you are all he talks about" he says laughing. For awhile Calum and I just lay up there in silence and it seemed that both of us where deep in thought when I got a text from Sophia.

Hey get the boys and meet me at the skate park there is some real shit going on here.

"Hey Calum get the boys and your boards there is one place you haven't seen in this small town and hurry we need to get there quickly." I say getting up and climbing down with Calum following me. "Meet me back here ASAP!" I say and run into my house to get a shirt because I still haven't changed. I put on a guns and rose crop top with white shorts and white converse. I grabbed my board and walk outside to see the boys waiting for me. "Follow me hurry." I say taking of down the street on my board. I looked to my left to see Ashton right next to me. "Do you want to tell us where we are going?" "To the skate park!" I yell as I pull ahead of them.

When we get to the skate park I look for Sophia. I saw her standing up at the top of the ramp and I start to run up to her with the boys hot on my tail. "Sophia what was so important!" I ask. "Julianna is going to break your trick record! You need to do something!" Sophia exclaims. I run over to the judges table and summit my name. Julianna already had a score of 250 and my score was 450.

I fly down the ramp picking up major speed. I pull of my first trick earning 50 points. Julianna speeds past me giving me a glare and everyone starts cheering my name. I pull off my second trick earning another 50 points. I had 100 and Julianna was up to 400. I pulled off an outstanding third trick giving me 100 more points bringing me to 200 and Julianna to 450. She was tied for my score. I watched her go for her next trick when we looked away and fell. She must have gotten distracted buy something. I earned 50 more points on my fourth trick then another 100 points. I was then up to 450. I made and outstanding trick earning 150 points and made the everyone go nuts. I then earn another 50. Then another 50 and then last a 100. At the end I had broken my old recorded with 800 points.
