this is my first time writing a one shot for a story.
and only because this story is so beautiful in this naked, crazy-heart-beating kind of way. frank and all his wildness and lolita's aching words and each and every character being so meaningful and so alive in a story. it's hard to find.
all these beautiful things frank and lolita say to each other not knowing how fatal it is to the average human heart (aka me). sometimes i actually forget that these hurricanes, lolita and frank, are fictional. that's how well written this story is.
when i'd be old and wrinkled and reminiscing about my teenage life, i'd remember reading 'the misfortunes of lolita' under my blanket on my phone, pathetically crying like a baby at one am, or i'd remember running to the computer after school to check for an update.
this story has taught me what it is to live with guilt or what it is to love. it has taught me to appreciate my family. taught me to be kinder.
i just love this entire book and have reread it countless of times and i've tried -the operative word- to do justice to this story. thank you @lamia for this beauty. you are an undeniable queen in the linguistic world.

note: if you haven't read 'the misfortunes of lolita' (the original) already then i highly suggest you do! also, all these characters do not belong to me and i am merely a passerby in frank and lolita's story. please respect that. thank you.
