I woke up slowly, it was very painful to move. My vision wasn't that good but we were in the white mansion again and I was on the couch. I moaned a little while trying to sit up but someone put their hand on my shoulder and put me back down.

"Why do you always try to sit up when you're hurt?" Vaneita giggled.

"I don't know, it's just a reflex now," I said in a hoarse whisper. My voice wasn't working that well but it should come back later. "What happened?"

"After a huge and impressive fight with some void crawlers, you passed out," Kris answered walking from the kitchen. Everyone paused for a bit. That was the weirdest dream I have ever had. Didn't even understand what it meant. Or who was talking, she sounded very familiar. My eyes drifted down to my body. My shirt was gone but it was replaced bandages and white cloth. The cut on my side still hurt really bad when I moved so I stayed down.

"How long have I been out for?"

"Only about an hour or two," Vanetia responded.

"The problem was how to get you to stop smoking." Another girl added. It was the purple girl from last night. She had a bright smile just like before.

"I never got your name,"

"Oh, my name is Saya. Also known as the amazing air element,"

"Sounds, impressive, I guess." Then felt the gash on my side burn again but then it didn't hurt anymore. I looked under the bandages and saw that it was gone. "That is so cool." I laughed taking off the bandages.

"What?" Kris asked.

"It's gone,"

"Wow, fire healing abilities," Saya smirked.

"Well I guess I can go home now,"

"That is crazy, it happened before with your leg too. I bet you didn't even notice." Kris smirked. She was right, I completely forgot about my leg. I stood up and put my shirt back on. The blood stains lifted up and burned away, it did the same for my jacket.

"It can clean too! That is so unfair. I wonder what it can't do?" Amethyst ranted while walking into the room with Tyler.

"It can't fix the rip but I'm loving this,"

"By the way, you looked before I thought you would look worse," Tyler joked.

"I wish I could remember what I did look like,"

"Oh, you don't remember anything. That's too bad your fighting was amazing,"

"I fought things?" Everyone started to look at me with worry. The memories from before were practically gone, and it feels like this isn't the first time I have forgotten. I paid no mind to it, it's probably just deja vu.

"How did you forget?" Vaneita asked. I shrugged my shoulders.

"That means you can start training from scratch," Kris spoke while throwing a staff at me.

"But I already know how to sword fight," I responded.

"Swords!" Amethyst shouted.

"Amethyst, no. We train her, just to see what she can do," Kris commanded.

"Then she can fight me so we can see what she can do," Amethyst chimed grabbing a staff.

"Well ok then," I responded. We walked outside and went to the back of the house. "Are you ready?"

"Don't worry, I'll go easy on you." Amethyst jumped at me but I blocked her stick. Then quickly moved behind her and poked her in the back.

"That round goes to Adara," Kris stated.

"I wasn't ready! Rematch!" Then we walked in the same spots again. "Alright, I'm turning up the heat,"

"But I'm already hot." I laughed with a smile. Then she jumped at me again, I dodged left and swung my stick to her face but didn't hit her. My stick was inches away from her face.

"Again, Adara wins," Kris giggled as everyone else did the same. We started to gather a crowd as other people from inside the house came out to watch.

"Why are you so good at this?" She asked as I started putting my stick down.

"Well, everything just moves in slow motion. It's kinda fun really, I don't really know what to compare it to." Then she swung, I ducked reaching for my stick again but she hit it away. I dodged her swings and grabbed my stick again and our sticks slapped together. She was going for every opening she saw but I swept her legs and put my staff to her face. "You almost got me,"

"Alright, you're good."

"When did you learn those moves?" Kris asked.

"I don't remember, but I picked up on it pretty good,"

"This forgetting thing is a little new, we should keep an eye on it," Vanetia insisted with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm sure it's just temporary," I smirked putting the staff down. Then the sun was going down, how long have we been out here? "Well I guess I should be getting home,"

"I should walk you home since it's getting dark and all," Tyler called while quickly running to my side. We started walking after we said goodbye to everyone. I stayed in the bright spots and tried not to stay in the shadows. Then it started to get darker faster, tried to walk faster but still wanted to make this walk last.

"So you said I was fighting, was it good fighting or did I make mistakes?" I asked trying to make conversation.

"It was the best fighting I've seen in a while. Really bright and beautiful." He paused between those two words, compliments, as he looked at me.

"Well, it is fire, all warm and stuff." I kept my eyes straight forward however not paying attention. We paused and walked in an awkward silence.

"So tomorrow is your first day of school," He stated after awhile.

"I gonna be so shy and alone," I whined quietly.

"What do you mean? You'll have us,"

"You all go to the same school?"

"We all live in the same neighborhood, why wouldn't we?"

"Well, I guess that makes me feel a little better,"

"And I can introduce you to more friends at the school so you can not be so shy when I'm not there for some reason but when is that going to happen?"

"If we have all the same classes together." Then we came up on our houses, it was pitch black outside.

"Well I should get inside before something bad happens again,"

"Don't want any void crawlers in your house." I stepped inside and his smile was the last thing I saw before the door closed. I pressed my back against the cold door, wow that smile. Then my thoughts came back into reality. School tomorrow, not looking forward to it.
