Katie turned to face me once again and whipped tears from her hazel eyes." I-I have stage four Brain cancer" she spitted out through sobs. My mouth dropped and my eyes started to fail with tears but I tried to hold it back, there was so much we hadn't don't and any day from now she could pass away. My body started to burn with sadness and then anger.
Why didn't the doctors find this a long time ago when it started",I cursed under my breath, I was shaking but I.managed to spit out a question "how long do you have?" There was a pause, a long awkward pause the air was growing thick and I felt as if I couldn't breath "I said how long do you have!" I said with my voice shaky but louder than the first time.
"A week, two if we're lucky" she stated. I rushed to give her a hug. As I fell into her arms her crying became more fluent and she has shaking so much that she almost shook me off.
"But you aren't done living" I implied.
"not yet, but it didn't take me long to realize it's okay to I'm not scared." She reassured me.
"Now what was that you cOme here to tell us?" She sniffled as she spoke
"It's not important anymore." I said.
Important A/N sorry for not posting the second chapter as fast as this one but I'm trying I hop you like the story so far sorry for the cliff hangers but they will all end like that unfortunately also gee will come in in a little bit but just be patient like Frank ieros band Lmao pun intended
