5th Wave Fan Fiction (Cassie and Ben)

My name is Cassie Sullivan I am 16 and have a younger brother Samuel aka sam, my parents work hard to provide for us to keep us well fed and a roof over our head. Sam and I are really close even though he annoys me at points he is still my brother and I love him. I hear a text message from my phone I see that it is Ben I smile reading it " hey babe wanna go out to a movie this weekend?" He was asking me out on a date since we haven't hung out in a while expect in school obviously. I walk to both of my parents to see if I can go and I'm so happy that they are allowing me to go with Ben to the movies. I let him know that I will be there and we end up calling for about an hour until both of us go to bed for school tomorrow. I tell Sam a story before bed smiling at him, I go back into my bed slowly getting to sleep.
I hear my alarm go off I get up turn it off then get into the shower, I let out of the shower wrapping a towel around my body walking back into my bedroom. I look through my closet for an outfit for today, I end up picking out a red shirt and dark blue jeans then I brush my hair leaving it down and put my sneakers on. I text Ben as I walk to the bus stop which I am always early for some reason, he gets a ride with some friends which is fine cause I like to see him hanging out with his friends. I sit in the middle alone most of the time reading a book to pass the time, the bus driver stops the bus to let us out at school where Ben is there waiting for me like he is every morning. I give him a tight hug and kiss him, he smiles at me which makes me smile knowing he is happy. We sit at a lunch table until the bell rings to go to our first class of the day.
