Warriors Fanfic: ~SunStream's Fate~

Chapter 4

Sunpaw and Cloverpaw left camp after the ceremony to try hunting without their mentors. They came to the Moonclan border and started hunting. Sunpaw accidentally crossed the border as she caught a squirrel. Two cats jumped in front of her while one cat stayed behind her. She looked around, confused. "What are you doing on our territory?" A striped tom hissed. "I-I...uh.." Sunpaw froze. "Well?" A black she-cat growled. "We were hunting on our side of the border and she must have accidentally crossed the border" Sunpaw's ears flattened against her head as Cloverpaw told the story. "Prey-stealers!!" The Tom hissed as they started sprinting back to camp, completely forgetting about Sunpaw's squirrel. When she got back to camp she slowed down, panting. a few moments later, a bunch of cats were spilling into the clearing. Sunpaw watched around in astonishment as elders and her mother hid in the nursery and the elder's den. Redfang looked at the new cats. "Why have you come to our camp?" He asked the moonclan intruders. "Because two of your apprentices were prey stealing!!" A tom from the crowd hissed. "We did no such thing, moonclan. All of are apprentices are under control." Redfang meowed calmly. "Are you calling me a liar?!" Without waiting for a response, the Tom threw himself at RedFang and soon, the whole clearing was full of snarling, fighting cats. Sunpaw just managed to see her sister, Featherpaw, battling with a moonclan apprentice. Sunpaw dodged as a huge tabby tom clawed at her and she sprang at his paws. The Tom jumped and Sunpaw used the technique her sister had taught her. She slid her claws down the tom's belly and he ran away. Sunpaw turned to another cat, this one dark gray, and sliced at his ear. The Tom pinned all her limbs down and she did the first thing she thought of; Headbutted him as hard as she could. The Tom fell backward and she clawed at his hind leg. He ran away, yelping, as Sunpaw looked around the clearing. Most of the moonclan cats had been chased out by now. She spotted a few cats on the ground, injured. She ran over to Rainfall, who was barely breathing, and he had a huge gash of blood coming from his stomach. "rainfall!! Are you okay?!" She asked, worried. "MudFlower!!" She called as the medicine cat hurried over. She used cobwebs and marigold on Rainfall's wounds and stepped back. "It's in the paws of StarClan now.." She murmured.
