After completing my graduation I started looking for a job. But even after 6 months the only thing I found was rejection. I got engaged with an event management company. There I met Janvi, an ambitious girl studying fashion designing and working here for some extra pocket money. Her residence was in Dover Lane, there she lived with her parents. A three storied old building, the top two floors were given for rent. I used to visit her home quite often. One evening both of us were heading towards her home suddenly she stopped and with a big smile greeted good evening to a lady. Lady because she must be in her late 20's. "Good evening" she said and further added "As both of you are coming from Vivekananda Park so can you tell me that is the bakery shop open there?"
I was astonished and forgetting my manners I asked aloud "How do you know?"
She looked at me and answered calmly "There's some grass struck on your jeans and I can see fresh marks of dry mud on your shoes. You can only get these two if you were sitting in a park, and that little tea mark on Janvi's dress made me clear enough to decide that both of you were at a park near a tea stall, which must be Vivekananda Park as youngsters generally gather there."
She ended her explanation and I thought it's simple enough to guess it.
"Uhhh, Ma'am this is Aviraj, my friend and colleague too." Janvi said in a confusing manner.
"Hello, I'm Kloris Gomes" she introduced herself and we shook hands.
"You must not play much tennis ball cricket if you are good at it with a leather ball." She remarked and left immediately before I could ask her anything.
"How did she get to know this?" I murmured to myself
