"I see......." Doctor Martinez said in a sad tone as she lowered her head. Then, as if she were a kid who just got candy, her eyes lit up. "Well now you can stay with us. I know we would never be able to replace the Flock but sometimes new is good. I know you wouldn't rather be by yourself?"

Angel thought it over and decided to stay. After all this is Max's mom who else would be better to be with.

"Hey, Dr. Martinez....." started a voice as it walked down the steps. "How's about you get Ella to whip up some delicious steak?"

Angel heard the voice and froze. It was a familiar voice. A voice that was so warm and loving at the same time stern and protective. The voice that she loved and listen to read her bedtime stories before things got even more screwed. It was Max's voice no doubt and Angel's heart nearly bursted with satisfaction.

"MAX!!! MAX!! IT'S REALLY YOU I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!" Angel hugged the body tightly with no room to breathe.

"Ugh. That girl gets on my nerves I wish to be nothing like Max." The body then kicked the hope-drained little girl off her and down the white wooden staircase.

Angel looked up. It wasn't Max. The short black hair spoke it all. It was Mia, Max's clone. Angel balled up and started sniffling until the dam that is her tear ducts couldn't hold back the ocean of tears. She couldn't beleive she had been so naive and drew conclusions so quickly.

Ella quickly sat down to try to aid Angel.

"Stop your whining," started Mia. "We're all traumatized now be a woman and brush it off. Crying won't get us food and it sure as hell won't stop those monsterous mutated freaks out there from devouring you. Didn't you see Gravity Falls' Wierdmaggedon episode?"

"Mia she's a little girl and she just lost everybody she loved....."

"Well I never had anybody to love and I've tured out fine. I didn't need Fang like I thought I did and, Sweetheart, you're better without those losers....."

The sobbing strengthens then both Dr. Martinez and Ella scold her.

"Alright, fine, I'll leave. I guess the bsd cop tactc won't work this time but you two need to toughen that girl up." Mia walks back upstairs with her hands in the air indicating submission.

After a few minutes Ella and Dr. Martinez finally got Angel to calm down. They laid the now slumber youngling on the sofa.

"She's right, you know." Dr. Martinez said as she put a blanket over Angel. "We need to get Angel prepared for this new world. This isn't anything like what she's been through already. Plus she doesn't have the others to rely on."

Ella looks at her mom puzzled. "So what are you saying, mom?"

                   <<LURKI>>

"Welcome to 'Training For The Newbies!' I'm your trainor, Ella and....." She points over to Mia. "Say it!"

"No! I'm not doing this it's pointless and rediculous."

"Well you were the one that said she needed to be prepped."

In a monotone, bord voice Mia says, "And I'm your co-trainor, Mia. Are you ready to be ready for the wild?"
