The Next Day

Today once I get to the school I get called into the office. Probably due to the fact that I skipped school witb Adym, and didnt come home. I stayed with Adym the rest of the night. I stayed at his place. I slept in his bedroom he slept in the guest bedroom. His parents had gone on a trip to....I dont even know where. I woke up extra early this morning and snuck into my room. It was 4 when I got there, I had passed out. My parents got me up, though. It was like I was therr the entire time. Anyways, I walk into the office. "Mr. Drew! Skylar's here!"

Mr. Drew our principal, had come out of his office and grabbed me by the arm. "Come with me young lady."

I follow Mr. Drew into his office, where Adym is already seated. "So, Miss Skylar Alexander you were not here yesterday, correct?"

I give Adym a nervous look. "Correct," I answer.

"I heard from many other students that you had left the school boundaries with Mr. Adym Yorba, here. Is this correct?"

I look down, staring at my black converse shoes. "Yes, Mr. Drew."

"Well, we have contacted your parents, they had told me that you hadent went home at all last night. Is this true?" Mr. Drew asks me. Adym gives me the face that says  lie! So, I do.

"No, sir. That is not true. I had went home at 10:00 p.m. last night."

"Mr. Yorba, is this true?"

"Yes."

"I cant do this, no its not. I had spent the night with Adym, then snuck into my room at my house, early in the morning," I explain. Im too much of a goodie goodie. I cant lie to the principal.

"I am very disapointed in the both of you." Mr. Drew announces, "Especially you, Skylar. I thought you were better than this. Im afraid we will have to call your parents into the school and have a conference with them."

"Okay, call them. I dont care."

At lunch I sat by Lilli and Bailey.

"WHERE WERE YOU?"Both of them shout, insync.

"Not here."

"No shit, Sherlock Holmes." Bailey sasses.

"I saw you leave the school." Lilli tells me.

"Okay," I answer.

"THATS ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?!"

"I have much bigger problems right now than dealing with you guys being pissy." I eat the rest of my lunch in silence. After about five minutes, Adym sits next to me. For the first time today, I notice what hes wearing. Hes wearing his camo #lastfam t-shirt. With a white t-shirt ubder it, overralls over the top. We are wearing the same watch. Its going to be a living hell when I get home.
