Being left in the dark never felt so cold, hearing them flirt and seeing them sit close, just what I need. The girl of my dreams to walk off with a total jerk and inflate his ego. It's my fault, I should've said something.
Like: Hey Aphmau, I heard you were dating Kai. Just remember who was really there when you needed them, not in the corner obliviously trying to smooth talk you into a date. K, bye.
SO STUPID! That would have done nothing, I think the only thing I can do is watch, and when I can't watch anymore.... I'll leave.
They sat so close, talking about gibberish, seeing as they have little in common. And slowly, very slowly, their hands crept together and began to hold each other's. I felt so numb, nothing mattered, I wanted to break down, but all my eyes allowed was a single tear to fall on my hand.

My hands shook but as the last bell rang, I had written the ultimate letter with how I felt and where I was going. But would she even pull away from Kai long enough to read it? DON'T THINK LIKE THAT, goodness brain , you make everything harder.
I slipped it into her locker and walked out of the school to the busses, I was gonna miss this place. Well....Homeschool will give me time for video games and practicing that old guitar. Positive, think positive.

She was behind the bus on a bike, the note crumpled in her hand. Fire burned in her eyes and the wheels, somehow she was keeping up. No... What would she do when she caught up to me?
It was time to get off the bus so I slunk off and down the path, please stay away.
She came close and lifted the letter, "That's all I wanted to hear (read)..."
