*.. as I was reading a particular magazine brought by my brother one time, I came by this cute yet tragic, sad, and heart-breaking poem ... after I read it, I had come to the realization that I can really relate to this situation in my life ... NOTE: This is NOT my work, but I just want to share it with you .... I hope you like it ... Here it goes :))*

Red is the Color of LOVE
(After a REAL-LIFE Romeo and Juliet Tragedy)
I thought LOVE STORIES
were as plain as
'I love you' ----- 'you love me, too'
heart-pounding dialogue
fairy tale HAPPY ENDINGS.
I already found the RIGHT person
in my life
until...
TantAraraAaanN..... BoOm!
--- the VILLAIN comes into the picture.
All of a sudden
the PARENTS
become selfish...
Then you'll hear
"we know what's good for you"
one-liner.
We ought to be OBEDIENT to parents
but what happens when best supporting actress
turns into an EVIL WITCH
and best supporting actor
transforms into a FAT, LAZY TYRRANT?
Does mother and father necessarily have to
own even my FUTURE?
I owe them gratitude
yet they DON'T own my life
NOT even my soul.
I learned that 'I love you'
DOESN'T mean happy ever after.
This *three-letter word* (*three-word phrase*) is CURSED
with tears and blood... Oh, my Shakespeare!
Then I understand why red is the color of blood
why red is the color of pain
why red is the color of passion
why red is the color of the heart
RED is the color of LOVE.
