Kayla's POV

It's my second year of college and let me tell you something, it's hard as shit.

In my field I've met two amazing people; Violet and Charlotte. We all share a dorm room and have become so close. I no longer felt an emptiness that took over my body.

It wasn't until today after class that the feeling some what came back:

"Hey Kayla!" Violet called from the other side of the room.

"What's up V?" I asked walking over to the computer screen her and Charlotte were standing by.

"Have you heard of this rapper named Jake Miller?" Charlotte asked.

My body froze and my heart sped up. "Um, yeah. Why?" I replied in the calmest voice I could muster.

"He's starting to go on tour in a few weeks and he's coming here! It's his first stop on the 'Us Against Them' tour. Would you want to come with is?" Violet asked.

"I-I don't know V. That might not be the best-um-enviorment for me."

"What the hell does that mean?"

Instead of pacing I sat down on the end of my bed. "I haven't told you guys this, but remember when I mopped around for like 3 months last year?"

"Yeah over that dumb guy that left you." Charlotte snorted.

"Well," I drawled out, "That dumb guy would be the guy on the computer screen."

They both turned and looked at the screen which was a picture of Jake from his tour advertisement. Their faces were full of shock and no words came out. I covered up the silence by saying, "Surprise?" Although it sounded more like a question.

"You dated JAKE FREAKING MILLER!?" They both yelled at the same time.

I nodded my head, "We use to be neighbors. Then he had to go on tour, I had to come here, long story short I broke up with him."

"You broke up with JAKE FREAKING MILLER?!" They both screamed again.

"How the hell do you guys keep doing that?" I asked trying to change the subject. They both just glared at me for it.

"Is he a good kisser?"

"Are his abs real?"

"Did he write you a song?"

"Did he sing to you?"

"On a scale from one to ten how good of a boyfriend was he?"

The questions were flying from left to right from both girls. "Guys! I can only answer one thing at a time." And thats what they made me do. I probably answered one hundred questions between the both of them.

"Do you still love him?" Charlotte asked.

"I-I-I don't know!" I yelled back.

Violet studied me for a minute before saying, "You're going to the concert. Even if I have to buy your tickets and drag you there you are going."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you need to figure out if you still have feelings for him."

I let out a sigh and fell back onto the bed. When Violet says she's going to do something, she does it. She is probably the most determined person I have ever met. There was no use in arguing because I knew I would be going to his concert whether I wanted to or not.
