Chapter 1: What?!

Hello, this is my first book on Wattpad. Soooo no hate please. I hope you guys enjoy it, thx :)

Wendy's POV

When I got home from school, I didn't see either of my mom's car or my dad's car. Their usally here when I get home from school. 'Hmm, maybe their running a little late at work.' I thought to myself.

So with that, I ran upstairs, threw my backpack on my bed, and then changed into a Cookie Monster shirt and white shorts. My feet were bare. I walked downstairs and got an apple to eat. As soon as I sat down on the couch the house phone rang. I hopped up and ran to get the phone.

'Maybe it's Mom, or Dad, and their going to tell me where they are!' I thought happily and smiled. But, my smile turned upside down into a frown. 'If it were Mom or Dad they would have called my cellphone.' I often times have these conversations with my brain. I picked up the phone and a lady started talking.

"Hello, good afternoon. Is this Wendy Loeaz?" The lady asked.

"Yes, may I ask who's calling?" I replied.

"Oh course, this is America's Heart Hospital." {A/N: I couldn't think of a real hospital name so I made one up.}

I gasped, why are they calling? WHAT DO THEY WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????? 

I must have been frozen, and just thinking about what they want with me for a few minutes because the lady said "Hello?"

"Y-yes, I'm still here..."

"Well, I'm very sorry to say, but I'm afraid your parents, Lindsey and David Loeaz.." she hesitated before stating "They both died in a car accident..."

"W-what?" I barely even whispered before I zoned out of what the lady from the hospital was saying.
