The Dream Catcher's Nightmares

Chp 1-My Dream

I was standing in the middle of nowhere of a forest. Looking up I see the Moon, it was oddly magnificent and was shining a bright blue colour, almost like a gem. It was the only source of light that lighted up my surroundings and making the scene look as if I was in the middle of a ballroom and the moon was my spotlight. I looked around and could only see trees, with leaves which sparkled under the moonlight making them look like precious gems with a beautiful sea green colour.

I was so mesmerized by the beauty of my surroundings I didnt notice a man standing behind me. I turned to look at him and was met with beautiful sea green orbs staring at me. I was lost in his eyes until I realized he was standing inches away from me. I didnt know how tall and intimidating he looked when I completely noticed his stature. A really sharp jawline, midnight black hair that looked so silky and shiny under the moonlight, a strong build almost like a swimmer's build but a tad bit muscular and almost 6'8 or 9 compared to my 5'11 almost six .

He indeed was a handsome man but intimidating at the same time, I then realized I was staring at him which caused a smirk to appear on his face and blush to make its way to my face.
Suddenly his face twisted in a sad face and he glared at the ground, he caught me by surprise by suddenly pulling me into a tight embrace and nuzzling my neck.

I was too shocked to notice ,that he had pulled away from my neck and was staring at me. That's when I noticed tears streaming down his face, I dont know why but I had this sudden urge to hug and comfort him, to take all his pain away but I couldn't seem to move out of my shock state. Suddenly he opened his mouth and said "Forgive me mate, but I have to do this to protect you, to protect my pack." At this point I was so confused, what did he mean by saving me or his pack, from what, There were so many questions roaming in my head, but when I opened my mouth to ask what did he mean by all this,but I couldn't ,the words won't come out.

Suddenly I saw two men standing behind the guy whose name I still didn't know.
They started approaching us, they were dressed in midnight Black robes and the hoods covered their faces so I couldn't exactly make out the facial features but I could make out their build through their outfits. They build was more like a body builder type. Suddenly they grabbed a hold of the guy, he made no effort to get out of their grip, I don't know why but when they started taking him away from me I tried to follow them to stop them, but something grab hold of my wrist, when I turned around it was a guy dressed like the other two who were pulling away the man.

I thrashed around trying to get free from his grip but couldn't do anything. The other two dragged the man into the forest and I knew something was not right, I started calling out to him, trying to stop the two guys to take him away for me. I screamed and cried but no one heard, suddenly I screamed the word "Mate." But by the time they could've heard it they completely disappeared into the forest.

The man suddenly let go of my wrist and I fell to the ground sobbing. When I turned around he was gone, suddenly the breeze blew my hair and I heard a whisper near my ear saying, "I am coming for you." Suddenly I clutched my chest as it started burning, and it felt like as if someone stabbed me and cut open my chest, I was crying for help, for the intense pain to go away, but it only increased, I started to scream my lungs out, my face coated with sweat my, my body was shaking badly as if I was having a seizure and my head throbbing. I screamed and screamed for what felt like hours but nothinng happened, the pain only seemed to grow more.

Suddenly I felt as if someone was shaking my body as if to wake me up, I was still screaming, then suddenly I blacked out but not before seeing a midnight Black wolf trying to approach me. Then suddenly I woke up and came face to face with my sister, I noticed that the tears were still streaming down my face and my face covered in sweat.

I suddenly lunged at her and hugged her and buried my face in her neck, sobbing and whimpering, I was a mess. I have been getting these dreams for a month now, the same man, same scenery, same voice. I don't know but it seemed like a warning.

When I first told my big sis about this, she was shocked, scared and surprised but at same time tried to keep a straight face but I knew her very well and could see through cold expression she would always tell me its just a dream and I shouldn't think about it much, but somehow I felt as if she was convincing her self more than me, which seemed really odd to me. I was scared and confused, who was that man, why was he saying he wanted to protect me, why did I called him mate, who were these people who dragged him away, there were so many questions in my mind. My sister didn't utter a word and just held me.

She knew the reason why I screamed and woke up in middle of every night, but somehow I was shocked and creeped out when she didnt react the first time I told her about my dream. She was just sitting there staring at her lap and started muttering something incoherent, I couldn't understand what she was saying but I knew something was definitely wrong and she knew something about this, something she's been hiding from me, but I didn't force her to answer me because I knew she would tell me when the time comes, but for now she just held me and I snuggled upto her and instantly fell asleep listening to her, as her soft and melodius voice entered my ears and lulled me in a deep slumber.

My elder sister is my everything, she is my only family and a mother and father figure in my life, after they died in an in plane crash while going to Chicago to meet our uncle and aunt. I love and trust my sister with all my heart and I'm really lucky to get a sibling like her. Remembering the good and beautiful memories of my family and me together, I went into a deep sleep in my sister's arms.
