Chapter 1
I love horses, always have, always will. Hey, Im Addison Fareheart and I ride horses for a living. I have been to competitions and everything. "Addison.." "Addison!" My best friend Maddie was saying. I had been day dreaming, about riding horses of course. "What?" I said really loudly, and the whole class turned around.. great, now I am going to get in trouble by Mrs. Rodgers, the old, cranky teacher that should have been retired by now. "Miss Fareheart, up to my desk now!" She said, yelled. I walked up to her desk and she wrote me a detention slip. Great, now after school I can't ride my horse, Leah. And of course, while I was walking back to my desk everyone is whispering. Mrs. Rodgers started talking again about stupid history. Who needs to know about history? Its just dead people, and plus, people always say, 'Worry about the future, not the past.' Well, obviously school doesn't follow that saying. DING DING DING DING! The bell rang. Great, now, Science, then Spanish, then... detention. "So Addison, are you ready for the competition on Saturday?" Maddie said. See, this is why she is my best friend, she loves horses too. "Oh heck yes!" I said enthusiastically. We were getting our books for Spanish, well, she was getting hers for math. The only classes we have together are History and Science. "Me too! I am so excited. But you will probably win, like always!" She said kind of sadly. It is true, I do always win, but she has one a lot too. "You win a lot too! Don't worry, lets try to have a tie like always!" I said. "Yeah, okay." She said kind of, well, I don't really know. DING DING DING DING! "Well I better get to math!" "I better get to Spanish." We both said at the same time. We said our goodbyes and see you laters. When 45 Minutes of Spanish went by I went to Mrs. Rodgers room and sat there for an hour then called my mom to pick me up. "So why did you get detention?" My mother asked. "Because I said 'What' out loud. Stupid right?" I said. "Very." She said. When I got home, of course, I went straight to Leah, but my stuff down, and got on her. Im so awesome, I ride her bareback. "Do you have any homework!?" My mother shouted. "No!" I lied. I rid her for about 3 hours. And finally got off. I went up to my room, and did my homework. "Honey get down here now!" My mom sounded scared. I ran down the stares and she said follow me. I followed her in the barn and she asked how long I rode Leah for. "3 hours" I said. Then I saw Leah, she was laying on the ground breathing really hard. I knew I was only suppose to ride her for 1 hour and 30 minutes only, but time passed and I just couldn't stop! Then I knew what was happening. Leah, was having a heart attack.

DUN DUN DUN! I know this isn't scary or anything, but I wanted to put that because it was a cliff hanger! muahahaha!
