Tay POV

Jenna told me to be ready to go out somewhere by half six, so I waited patiently by the door, not knowing how Jenna knew where I lived, awaiting her arrival.
My hair was curled slightly, and I had blood-red lipstick on with black eyeliner as well. Alongside the simply makeup I was simply wearing a black t-shirt, black skinny jeans, black combat boots and a black leather jacket.
"Lookin' snazzy Jardine." came a voice from behind me.
Jumping, I glared angrily at the laughing figure walking towards me.
"For fucks sake Williams, you scared the living shit outta me!" I screeched, glaring at a smirking Hayley.
"I am a teenager. Anyway, what's the occasion? Ya goin' on a date?"
My blush must've given it away seeing as I received a gentle punch to the arm.
"Good goin' Jardine. Who's the lucky lady? You get the Aussie? She's hot. If it's not the Aussie ditch your date and get the Aussie okay? Please, for me?"
"How do you know it's not a guy?" I asked, causing Hayley to roll her eyes.
"Tay, you're as straight as a circle that's dented and bent. You're more gay than gay itself. Also, if it's a guy why are you hiding a flannel?"
Quickly, I readjusted my jacket so it hid the lesbian clothing, blushing furiously.
"Alright you caught me. But don't just assume it's a girl." I scolded.
"You're a fucking lesbian, what else am I supposed to think?" screamed Hayley.
Pouting, my arms crossed over my perhaps slightly pronounced breasts, a protest in my lips.
"I could be bi. You don't know."
Another eye roll.
"Suuuuuuuuure. Yeeees, the person who came up to me and told me she was a full-time lesbian is saying she could be bi to prove a point."
Soon I was drowning in the memories from a few years ago when I first came to this school as a junior.

All of this was so confusing. Everyone is either only attracted to boys or girls, and you can't like the same gender.
If that's true, why do I feel like this? Why am I in love with her?
Much to my horror, the door opened to reveal a teen around two years older than me with dirty-blonde hair and hazel eyes.
I'd seen this teenage around school: she was usually shoved about quite a lot and teased along with two other girls around the same age.
Although we didn't know each other, she opened her arms and I ran straight into them, crying loudly and probably soaking her Foo Fighters t-shirt.
"What's up?" she asked, her voice gentle and consoling.
Throwing precaution out the window as well as myself out the closet, I blurted out without caring about the consequences:
"I like a girl!"
I half expected her to call me a freak and run out, but to my surprise she simply hugged me tighter.
"Same."

From that day onwards I was good friends with a teenager I like to call my 'gay saviour' even though she was bi.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang, causing me to snap back (like my hats) into reality (sadly).
"Go on your date ya gay little shit." laughed Hayley, indicating towards the door.
Before I opened it, I had one question.
     "How did you get in?"
All she did was tap the side of her nose.
"That, Taylor Jardine, is for me to know and you to find out. Have a good night, and don't scare her off you weird kid."
With that she shoved me out the door and slammed quickly, locking me out my own house.
"And for the love of god don't mess up my flannel!" she called through the window.
"Shall we go?" Jenna inquired, blushing as much as I was.
Mutely I nodded, following my beautiful girlfriend who was wearing a flannel, black boots and a beanie.
How very lesbian of you Jenna McDougall. How very lesbian.
