Chapter 50:

Strings of moans escaped my mouth when Zayn thrusted into me and I let him...

"Ah!" I whimpered. I knew exactly what he was trying to do but I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction he was after. My nails in his back deepened as he went faster and rougher on me. I didn't care this time if I hurt him at all, the more I scraped, the better I felt. Then all of a sudden, he came out and looked at me as if he didn't know who I was. I pulled my dress down and closed my eyes, letting the tears of pain slip out slowly. That hurt!

"You promised." he said.

"I didn't promise anything."

"Why won't you say it?"

"It won't make a difference."

"Yes it will. We can finally be together."

"What if I don't want that."

"You know you do."

"No Zayn! That's what you want! But bad timing..."

"For Gods sake Perrie! What do you want me to do!"

I felt the same flame of fire burn out of him that I had experienced years ago.

"It's not fun waiting is it?"

Zayn tugged my hair from the back, clear anger radiating out of him. I wanted to cry really at his attempts to get me back but I fought back the tears. I didn't want to be the same weak Perrie who always let me him have his way.

"Stop being so stubborn." he said, pulling my hair. I grabbed his hair too and did the same.

"Stop being so demanding."

We stared into each other's eyes for a long time, neither of us letting go but then someone knocked on the door and both of us released at once.

"You should really go home now."

"I am not going until you say it."

I gave him one final look before going downstairs and unlocked the door to my mum. Great!

"Oh God! What have you been doing?" she exclaimed, coming in with bundles of shopping bags. I checked myself in the mirror to see what she was talking about. Oh. I looked like a cherry tomato, blazing red. My legs felt sore as well but she didn't have to know that.

"Just been exercising."

What a dumb ass excuse! Mum gave a puzzled glance before settling down in the sofas and unravelling the things she must have bought.

"Guess who I bumped into today." she beamed. I shrugged my shoulders.

"The one and only Tricia Malik!"

Crap! Did she have to mention her! Not only did I not want to hear anything about her but I am pretty sure Zayn could hear everything. Whatever she had to say, I hoped it was something good.

"I was shopping and the next thing I know, she's there looking at me! The nerve of that woman!"

"She didn't do anything though."

"I know. She can't now though can she. She's not the only rich woman in town any more. I couldn't help but go up to her and give her a little taste of her own medicine!"

"What did you do mum?"

"Nothing much. Just praised you that's all. Told her how her son is nothing compared to you now."

I sighed. What was the difference between my mum and his mum? All they wanted was to bring each other down but what they didn't see was that it was only breaking me and Zayn.
