Alex (girl) POV
~
i'm nervous. i'm about to get my english test results. i'm not a smart ass but somehow i ended up in "fast track english." english is my favorite and writing is one of my hobbies so it's important to me that i stay in "fast track." this test will determine weather or not i'm staying. my palms are so sweaty. they feel like wet sponges. i walked into the room, ready to get results but not at all, and that's when not just my eyes, but my mind saw him. he's arguing with Mr.     Brien about something.

"No. you're not getting your phone back." said Mr. Brien.
"But-" the boy tried to speak.
"NO. next time make sure it doesn't ring in my class."
"If you take it when will i get it back?"
"Well it's Friday so you would get it on..... Monday." Mr. Brien replied with a smirk.
"What? No. But i need my phone."

they argued until Mr. Brien gave in and gave him his phone back. i've seen him before but i never really thought much of him. now that i've had a closer look, he seems, different. i don't know him. not at all really and he probably doesn't even know me. i'm 14 and he's 16, he would never even look at a girl like me.

Sam (boy) POV

that was close. if Mr. Brien had taken my phone, i wouldn't have access to the one thing that helps me breath. music. thank god he was about distracted by that 9th grader. ugh. 9th graders, the most basic bitches to ever set foot on the school grounds. no wonder all 11th graders hate them.
