Roc and Ray had to meet with their lawyer for the first time in a few years. The family decided to take a trip to New York. Roc and Ray was confused on why their lawyers would want to meet with them all of a sudden. Chris came with them,he was nervous about seeing Roc's mom,Brenda. He was actually for the first time in his entire life,scared that she was going to reject him and be mad with him. Roc and Ray put their money together and bought a house,well a mansion in New York for when they went up to stay. Drey was still thinking about going to New Orleans and starting over,but he didn't know if Asia wanted to go since that's where she was from and she had a terrible childhood, it probably would bring back so many bad memories.He was hoping she said yes or saying yea they could move anywhere else.Mel and Kyle went back to Cali because they had class and work.

Chris was scared to knock on the door of Brenda's house.He got the address from Roc.Roc was coming later when he got Jene and Gina settled in.

Chris got the courage and knocked

"Who is it?"Brenda called from the other side

"Chris.."

She opened the door "Ch-chris??"She started to cry,her love never died for him,they would write each other every now and then. Her husband was back.

He smiled "Its me baby."She jumped in his arms,wrapping her legs around him

"Its been so long."She got done "I thought they gave you life?"

"I got out on good behavior."

She kissed him "Please don't ever leave me again."

"I won't."He smiled and walked in. He saw pictures of Roc when he was younger and his older brother,Chris Jr. He stared at the picture.Brenda was behind him,he started to cry,remembering how his son got killed because of the way he was living. "You know Roc hasn't been the same since that day you left and CJ died? He thought didn't no one love him and got completely out of control.I tried my best to keep him out of the streets,but it didn't work."She sighed and wiped a tear,then wrapped her arms around Chris from the back and laid her head on his back "He told me the streets was the only that loved him. I always told him,he can love the streets,but they don't love him back. He didn't believe me. It was hard to keep him out of trouble and in school. He wasn't the same sweet child he was before you left and CJ died. I did my best with him,but that lifestyle run in his blood. Like people say they didn't choose the Thug Life,it chose them. That's how it was for him.I managed to keep in him school though and he graduated,he even went to college and got his Master's. I did everything I could with him."

Chris wiped his face "Its my fault,I got him into the streets and everything.I wasn't there to give him a proper father figure. I'm so sorry."

"Its not your fault,he could've chosen not to,but he did anyway. He turned out fine."

Chris nodded "I love you baby,I promise not to leave you like that.They cleared all my records, so I have a clean slate now.Imma find a real job."

Brenda smiled,she was happy to hear that "I hope you stick to your word."

At the lawyer's office Roc and Ray was waiting on their lawyer,Raymond to come out. They werent nervous at all.

Raymond finally came out with some folders,one was with pictures of a murder scene. He laid them on the table and Roc and Ray looked at them

"What this gotta do with us?"Roc asked slightly pissed off."

"This is Craig Crippen," he pointed to one picture "and Tremaine Smith."

"Again,what does this have to do with us?" Roc asked

"They tied both of yall to this case and possibly yall wives too."

"When were they killed?" Ray tried to play stupid.

"Around the same time yall got released from jail." Raymond said in a matter of fact tone

Roc acted like he was thinking hard" That day we got realesed was the same day our kids had a birthday party. "

"Im not saying we did it, but you know these detectives have their ways in New York, what we get."

" Well right now ,there's a warrant out for yall arrests, you have a set court date two weeks from now. They also found an abandoned warehouse, also where Craig was found, they trying to say yall owned it and found over 40 pounds of marijuana, cocaine and meth there. They trying to charge yall with 2 counts of capitol murder,6 charges drug possession. Also weapons were found there,they think they were stolen, so yall will be charged with 7 charges of weapon possession, which will leave yall life withouth parole. No lemme tell yall something, if yall did it or not,i will try my hardest to make sure yall walk, but these damn cops want yall so bad,they are considering death row. The cops in Atlanta are trying to make a deal with them to have yall incarcerated in Atlanta."

Roc was getting frustrated, but tried not to let it show "And if we walk?"

Raymond shrugged "then y'all walk."

Ray looked at him "Look, I know we don't pay you for nothing. Burn all that shit, all the fucking files on this damn case. Anybody ask, you don't know a fucking thing, someone broke it your office."

Raymond smirked "That's my boy."

"We'll get rid of everything else tonight. Does anybody know we met up?" Roc asked

"Nope, they don't know y'all even here.I will get those warrants burned as well."

"As soon as everything is done you will have your check."

They stood up and shook hands "Good day."

They got in the car, Roc hit the steering wheel "Shit man!"

"We finna settle this shit right now."Ray said pulling off. the first thing he did was pull the disposable phone they would keep for times like this, he made a call to one of his old workers. "Its done."

When they got there house they bought in New York and walked in Kaka and Jene was sitting in the living room, before Roc and Ray could sick down, they was a knock on the door. Drey answered it.

"Im Officer Brown," Drey mugged him

"I know you, mad because you go fired and decided to come to New York and harassed people? Fuck you want nigga?"

"I have a warrant for Chresanto August and Rayan Lopez."

Im sorry it took me forever to update, im back now!!!! School almost over and the work is getting light again! Its probably only about 2 chapters left..sworry im having to end so soon...it was fun while writing it! I love all of yall, thanks for being patience and waiting for me!
