Its been like a month, zombie sightings have been less and less, and my relationship with Dylan has skyrocketed! I slowly have been practicing my magic, been up late at night talking and hanging out with Dylan, and I have become the new medic. My dad had taught me how to deal with wounds, broken bones, ect., and thanks to all that I am now the medic of my team. We have been all working hard and some of us have been saying that the end of this apocalypse is here.
"Ash, what do think we should do?" Hanna asked me.
"What do you mean?" I asked back.
"We've all decided that we should start a town here, a small village if you may." Jake said.
"Then shouldn't we start a food source? Like a garden, or gardens?" Claudia asked.
"That is an amazing idea, Claudia!" I said.
"I'll start the garden." Jake said, leaving the treehouse.
Luckless had died in the battle against Satan, while I was battling Landon. Landon had died a few weeks ago when a bunch of mega-zombies had attacked him, he was buried nearby where we had buried Emily after she turned and was shot in the head. Now it was just Dylan, Hanna, Jake, Claudia, and me.
A few days later, a few gardens were growing and I went on a supply run. I made it to the motel where we buried Landon and Emily. That's when I was grabbed by someone and had a rag placed over my mouth and nose, I held my breath and threw the person over my shoulder. A few guys came out of no where and jumped me, I burned a few of them with some fire magic (which I promised myself to only use magic when needed), but someone smacked me in the head with a bat.
I woke up in a cold, dark room. My arms and legs strapped down to a chair, I was only in a tank top and my pants were gone. Some guy walked in and came over to me with a knife out.
"So you're finally awake. We've been waiting for when you would wake up." The guy said, stabbing my hand with the knife.
"What...what do you want?" I said through gritted teeth. The pain wasn't all that bad but it was still pain.
"What do I want? What I want is you, or what's in you to be more specific. You have the magic of the ancient fire dragon! You've been reincarnated two times now, which is interesting since Sir Landon only reincarnated you once, Queen Ash Fireheart. Maybe it was the soul of a fire wolf that's in you? The most powerful soul in the world?" The guy said, examining almost every inch of me.
"Don't call me that." I said, setting fire to his hair.
"Don't call you what?"
"Don't call me Queen Ash Fireheart! I am not her, and I will never be!" I yelled.
I had dreams of when I was Queen Ash Fireheart, I had killed thousands for no reason and I didn't want to be called by the name of a tyrant.
"You are her, you're just like her. In every way possible. In both body and mind." The guys said, grabbing me where no girl should be grabbed.
"Who are you." I hissed.
"The reincarnation of the son of the evil king of water ways, Blake. You had killed a girl for me, a girl who had wanted me as much as you did. Now you have a new lover, a boy named Dylan." He said, grabbing my face.
"Will you let me go?"
"Not until that boy sees what has become of his girlfriend. Do you know how much your team will sacrifice for you? What they will do?" Blake asked.
"I know that they need me as a medic and friend." I said, biting his hand.
He jerked his hand away and there was blood. I smirked and he slapped me across the face.
"Only that boy will care, I believe. Queen Hanna of Air Ways abandoned her rule and helped you, now she's back and her lover is gone! Poor Landon shouldn't have died and months ago, before the apocalypse, he shouldn't have had a fight with Hanna. If they had a child, she was be the most powerful princess! Now miss Kyra was only born once, but I can still have what I want. You." Blake said, his voice deep and demonic. This guy was really creepy now.
"Can you please let me go!" I said, tears forming in my eyes on will.
I gave up my tough girl act right then. He gave in and let me go, only after he caused me more pain. I got out of there as fast as I could, running all the way.
A few hours later, I made it to the treehouse. I saw Hanna and Claudia working in the garden and made it over to them, only to blackout right then. I woke up sitting against a wall in the treehouse. My hand was wrapped up and so were my other wounds, I looked around and saw that Dylan was talking to Hanna and Claudia.
"We just saw her right as she collapsed!" Claudia exclaimed.
"Ok, if that's what you saw. Ash is now safe and we can't let her go out on her own ever again." Dylan said.
I coughed and suddenly they were looking at me. Dylan walked over to me and sat down next to me, letting me rest my head on his shoulder. "How long was I gone?" I asked.
"At least five days. Everyone was looking for you and some gave up, but me and Hanna didn't." Dylan said, wrapping an arm around me.
"The zombie Apocalypse is over!!!" Jake exclaimed from outside.
"Its over? After all these months! The world is finally safe from the undead!" Claudia and Hanna exclaimed.
"Guess it is over..." I trailed off, falling into a peaceful and calm sleep.
The apocalypse has ended now. Everyone was safe. The story about the survivors with ancient magic has come to an end, a lovely end.
