You broke my favorite vase today.

You thought I would be fine.

You thought I wouldn't care.

Yes I know it was old and chipping and I had other vases.

But this vase was the best vase I ever had.

Even in the heat of the day with a little water it could keep the flowers it held alive.

It was the perfect vase.

It wasn't too small that it crowded the flowers together but not too big to let them drift apart.

The vase got old with time just like anything else would.

I thought about the vase less and less everyday.

It wasn't special to me anymore, it just became a normal vase.

I should've cared for it more while I had the chance.

Fixing the chipping pieces adding fresh water when needed to keep the flowers alive. But I didn't, because I never truly understood how much I loved and needed that vase.

But its not just a vase.

Its what I never had.

What I don't have.

And what I never will have.

Perfect.

Until you broke it.

Im trying to put it back together as much as I can.

but you took some pieces with you that can not be replaced.

I know its hard to fix but if we work together it can be restored.

It wont be perfect.

It will have some rough edges and cracks.

But over time we can find the missing pieces from wherever they are hiding.

When they where lost long ago.

We can glue them back together with the strongest glue we can find to keep it from falling back apart.

When all the cracks and chips are no more we can buff it to a nice smooth shine again.

Add some nice clean water and the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen.

The vase Will be good as new.

But before we fix it.

Id like to say thanks.

For giving me the pieces I needed to put the vase back together.

And for showing me that this vase is no ordinary vase.

Its special.

And I will never forget about it ever again.
