Her decision really came as a shock to everyone in the family. Her family and the Park tried to stop her but she was determined. Jimin has became more quiet but surprisingly he never stop her. Seulgi thought that it was because he also wanted the same thing.

So one morning when he presented her the document she accepted it. It didn't change the fact that she felt somewhat disappointed and frustrated but she told herself that she wanted it and it's for the best.

"Thank you, Jimin. I will sign it as soon as possible." She said and he offered her a smile she couldn't described.

"I- I will be at my parents if you need me. I thought you need time on your own." He voiced out.

When he was about to leave she called out "Goodbye." He didn't turn around to look at her but still bade her farewell.

As he disappeared from her sight, she cried softly and rubbed her belly. I am sorry, baby.

---

I have signed it and it's in your room. See you around, Park Jimin.

Jimin was in his office when he received the text message from Seulgi. He tried to focus on his work but to no avail. He couldn't concentrate ever since Seulgi suggested the separation.

He might looked like he wasn't affected by it but deep down he was devastated. Everyone was trying to stop their divorce and he should do the same but he just couldn't.

He couldn't bear to carry on because he knew how their marriage not only was a mistake but it was slowly crushing him. It killed him every time they fought and it hurt him thinking how every time she mentioned how tired and sick she was of their relationship.

The look of sadness in her face made the guilt inside him grew stronger every single time as he knew he was the source of it. The feeling of hatred he got whenever they were slandering one another increased the rage he felt for himself for agreeing with the marriage in the first place. Every day was like hell to him because a day thinking how she suffered because of their marriage was a burden to his heart. He couldn't bear the thought that she hated him and each passing day that feeling amplified by tenfold.

So when she suggested the divorce he knew it was the right thing. He knew he had to let her go. It was much better than to be hated by and to cause misery to the one he love.

He had always love her. That's why he accepted the marriage. All the anger and fights were just barriers he put up so that he could feel less terrible and pathetic by his one-sided love. Yes, he was egoistical but he couldn't let himself be happy for marrying the one he loves when she was obviously having a hard time. So he covered it up like he was unfairly brought into the relationship. Still all the lies he mustered broke his heart bit by bit. All the act he created tore him each time because he was hurting her against his own will.

Maybe their separation was the best. That's why he avoided her after that unforgettable night they spent together. He was drunk but he remembered every single detail of it because to him it was the most special moment with her. He couldn't accept the thought if she despised him for what he had done so he evaded her. When she didn't brought up the matter and they became completely like strangers he believed that he messed up and screwed their relationship to the point of no return.

Now there really was no way of getting back together again. Even when her memory was lost she wanted them to end. He guessed it was the best decision for them because he didn't want a repeat of what happened the morning she first told him about her desire to wrap up their marriage. When he found out he blamed himself and he knew it was his fault. He thought he could die when she was unconscious. He would never forget himself even until now. So the separation was the least he could do to make it up to her if that can make her happy again. He would sacrifice his love so that she wouldn't suffer anymore.

Only a miracle could turn back everything at this point.

Seulgi gave the house one last look before getting onto the taxi. Even up until this point she hoped for a miracle and wished that it was just a dream. Was it okay for her to pray one last time for the sake of her love?

"Are you ready to go, Miss?" The taxi driver asked. She sighed as she realised the reality.

"To Incheon Airport, please."

As she was getting further from the house she shut her eyes. She wasn't crying anymore because now she has to be strong for the child in her womb. She needed to be tough for the precious gift, the only gift, the evidence of her love.

It didn't matter if she forget everything as long as she only remembered how much love and care she received for the past few days.

She wished she could forget everything but that.
