Date Night.

"Who would of thought the one and only Sasuke Uchiha, asked you, Sakura Haruno, out on a date?!  Yes, you might be his girlfriend and you live together now but it's Sasuke we're talking about here..."

"UGH!  I don't know... I don't know what to do, say, wear..."

"It amazes me."

"INO!  H-E-L-P M-E!"

"Okay Forehead, this is what you do, find the most reveling dress you have and wear that, then go out to dinner, once you get home play hard to get and he'll be the lead when you fuck."

"... Ino..."

"What?"

"I'm not trying to seduce him, Ino."

"WHAATTT!  I would if I were you."

"... Thanks for the amazing help and telling me the way you got into Sai's pants, honestly you're amazing, you should be a relationship expert."

"Aweeee thanks Forehead."

"... mhmm... You're welcome Pig."  

I sigh as I hang up the phone.  It irritates me when she doesn't know the difference between someone giving her a complement and being sarcastic.

I look at the clock hanging on the living room wall that reads 6:14 pm, giving me a few hours to get ready.

I run to the bathroom and take a hot long shower, getting out I rap a white towel around myself and walk to my our room, the clock reads 7:38 pm.  I shuffle through my closet trying to find anything that looks like something to dress up in, I pulled out three dresses, seven skirts, and a black and white tops.

I lay out all my clothes out on our bed, looking over all my clothes I choose a burgundy, short, spaghetti straps dress with a pair of black lace heels.

I put away the clothes I'm not going to wear back away and sat in front of my mirror, I look at myself, my wet hair, water drops dropping from my bangs onto my shoulders running now my arm being soaked up by the damp towel around me.  

I blow dry my hair and put in loose curls, to top it off I add diamond earrings.  Next I do my makeup, I don't really like makeup to begin with so I do a little mascara and light pink lip gloss.

I drop my towel and slide on my dress and heels.  It's 8:47 pm now and I can feel myself getting excited and I'm starting to fidget with things sitting around me.  I walk down to the living room and sit on the couch ready to leave, any minute now Sasuke will come and pick me up.

---- Sasuke POV

"I'm going to take this mission."  I pass the paper across the Narutos kitchen table.

He grabs the paper and reads over it.  "How are you going to take this mission when you're not allowed to take them by yourself yet?"

"That's why we're sorting these papers.  Kakashi said he'll let me go just this once for this mission."

"So you're just using me for this?..."

"Mhmm."  I go back to sorting the papers as Naruto sighs and goes back to his.

The front door opens, Naruto and I both look that way.

Hinata walks into view.  "Hey Hina, you're home early."  Naruto gives Hinata a huge smile.

"Hello Naruto, what do you mean early?  This is the time I get home everyday.  Sasuke,"  She smiles.  "Wasn't expecting to see you here."  She says and walks to put away the groceries she had.

I give Naruto a weird look.  Did he not tell her I was coming over to do this with him?

"Hina, I told you Sasuke was coming over to get help from me."  Naruto looks at Hinata.

Hinata turns.  "Yes I remember but I didn't expect he was staying this late."

I look at Hinata.  "...What time... is it?"

Before Hinata could tell me the time Naruto jumped from his seat and started to yell.  "IT'S 11:26 SASUKE!"

"WHAT!"  I jump from my seat knocking it backwards to the floor, Hinata jumped.  I grabbed my bag holding my suit that I was going to wear tonight and run out the front door leaving it wide open.

I run as fast as I would to my house.

---- Sakura POV

I sigh as I walk down the street dressed up and looking my best, it wasn't cold but warm that night.  Making my way past the shops and houses I come to my favorite place of all time, the flower field.  I made my way to the small place where I always go, the middle, every step I take the heel of the shoes sunk into the ground.  It was beautiful, the lightning bugs were out now but it seems like there are more out tonight then there ever was before.  

"Spring starts next month, you're going to have to bring me back out here."

I remember the words Sasuke said to me when I showed him this place, It wasn't Spring but it was warmer then normal this year.  He wanted to see the lightning bugs.  My emotions finally caught up with me and I snapped, tears rushed down my face leaving mascara marks.  I dropped to my knees and sop into my hands. 

"Sakura..."  

I hold in my cry, I don't move.  "How did you... find me?"  I say between a small cry.

I don't get an answers but I can hear him walking closer to me, the steps stop.  I still don't move.  

"I'm sorry."  He says before dropping to his knees and pulling me into his chest, he raps his arms around me tight.  "I was with Naruto, we were doing Kakashi's paper work so he would let me go on a solo mission, we lost track of time.  I'm sorry."  He whispers into my ear.

"S-Sasuke, you left me waiting, you said you would come and get me but you never did."  I start to cry a little more now.  "You lost track of time... okay but does your solo mission really mean more to you then me and our first date?"  I push myself out of Sasukes arms.  "Why do you want a solo mission?  Did you make an mistake by dating me?  The only thing I'm good at is healing and helping hurt people but who's going to be there when I need the healing and if I'm the hurt one?"

Sasuke pulled my face up from my hands, he gripped my cheeks with his hands and wiped off all the makeup.  "Sakura, the biggest mistake I've made was not telling you I loved you sooner."  He said then pulled me into a kiss.
