Best Friends (A Cameron Boyce Fan Fiction)

*4 years before*

I was running from Cameron, considering we were playing tag.  But only us two.  I know, it's stupid, but it's our favorite thing to do together.  I mean, were 10, and there's not a lot of stuff for us to do by ourselves. 

"I got you!"  Cameron says, tagging me.

"I'll get you Boyce!"  I say, running after him

This was our summer and after school routine, coming over my house and doing this.  It's the best when my older brother is here, he plays with us too.  But now my brother Kyle is in high school, while were in 4th grade.  He's a freashmen, and he is very busy with school work now.  But he tries his best to be here with us.

"Whoa!"  Cameron says

"What?"  I say, running towards where he stopped.

"Look!  Its a hole!"  He says

"Whoa, do you think it's to China?"  I ask curiously

"Maybe!  Lets get shovels and dig!"  he says

"Yeah!"  I say

These were the good old days...

*The Present, 4 years later*

I wake up in the morning, first day of summer!  I look to my bedside table, where I see a picture of my bestfriend, Cameron Boyce.  I don't get to see him a lot anymore, considering he's been doing the show 'Jessie' for 2 years now.  He doesn't ever get a break anymore.  I feel bad for him, but he's getting payed a lot of money now.  He's happy, and I'm happy for him.

But, I do miss those days playing tag in my backyard.  If I could have those days back, I would.

Oh yeah, I'm Zoey, but people call me Zoe.  I'm 4'11, pretty short for a 8th grader, I'm 14 years old, I have brown hair and bright blue eyes.  I also play soccer, basketball, and lacrosse.  Lots of guys in my grade like me, but I like someone, who doesn't know it.

Cameron.

I know, 'you can't love your bestfriend!'  Well, I do.  Ever since the 1st grade when we met, I've had a secret crush on him.  Only one person knows, and that's my other best friend, Danny.  She's 5'5, has beautiful blonde hair, and bright green eyes.  She plays all the same sports as me, and is 3 months older than me.

*ring ring*

I see the name 'Cameron My Best Friend' pop up on my phone screen.

"Hello?"  I say

"Hey Zoe!  Guess what?"  Cameron says

"What?"  I say, getting excited

"Do you want to hear the good news, or the great news first?"  He says

"Good news"  I say

"Well, there is a audition for Jessie's little sister on my show!  Maybe you could go out for it?"  Cameron says

"I'll think about it."  I say

"And, the great news is that I'm coming to visit for the summer!  Me, Maya, and my dad are coming to live with your family!"  Cameron says

"REALLY?" I basically scream

"Yeah!  Were gonna be there tomorrow!  I'll see you then!"  Cameron says

"Ok!  See you then!"  I say

We hang up, and then I fall backwards on my bed.

"He's coming!  He's really coming!"  I say to myself

Then I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in!"  I say

"Hey Zoey"  I hear a boys voice say
