During science class I couldn't stay focus, I kept having daydreams about Kaden and what he told me. I know it wasn't something I should take serious especially from him, but he was even smiling when he told me I'd be his someday. I knew my daydream was trying to tell me something. There must something about Kaden. He gets angry really easily and he's super fast and strong. Kaden and his group of friends are always together and really close. His main popular friends consisted of Asher Mckenzie (Kaden's Best friend), Madeline Parker and Christine Summers (The bitchy cheerleaders and sluts), and finally Blair Nyx (Kaden's enemy and step-brother). I didn't get why Kaden even considered him as a friend if they both hated each other so much.
They always fought and Blair always challenged Kaden at everything. I don't know if it was a guy thing or whatever, but it made me get curious about them.
I also didn't get why whenever Blair was around me or tried to talk to me that it made Kaden extremely mad. He even growls like some type of animal. But I couldn't lie, it is pretty sexy whenever he growls and gets jealous when other guys talked to me. But why me? Why does he suddenly like me?
I've had crush on him since middle school. It's the beginning of our last year in high school and now he likes me. I was tired of his little games that he played with me. I soon got over him as I entered freshmen year. I even dated Blair once in 10th grade, but broke up with him when he tried to rape me. He was so strong and lost control. Just as animal-like as Kaden gets. His eyes were filled with lust and hunger as if he were about rip me to pieces.
"Hey, Isabella. Can you please talk to me? It's been two years and you're still holding a grudge for that night. I was stupid. I just couldn't control myself." Blair said whispering to me as I was doing my classwork.
"I keep having these dreams about you. I feel like they're true. There's something different about you. I don't know what, but there is. The way you attacked me...It was unnatural. Almost supernatural." I said. My voice sounding frightened.
"Bella--"
Before Blair can talk, Kaden walked into the class.
"Where have you been, Mr. Bale?" asked the teacher.
"At the principal's office as always. I need to speak to Blair." Kaden walked up to Blair and me. There was something about the way he walked that made his presence feel so powerful.
"Blair, are you bothering her?" he asked.
"It's none of your business. Why do you care anyways? Do you have some type of petty crush on her?"
"We don't have time for this, Blair. There's an important meeting outside." Kaden said through clenched teeth trying not to growl. He had his hands in a fist.
They gave each other death stares before Blair finally got up from his seat and they explained to the teacher where they had to go. The teacher gestured them to go.
"Ariana, did you see that?" I nudged her.
"Yeah, Kaden and Blair looks so hot when they're mad." she said sighing.
"No, not that. Don't you pay attention to anything besides how cute boys look?"
"Don't you ever notice how cute boys are?"
I looked down at the desk to find scratches on the desk as if they were scratched by claws.
I felt uneasy, so I asked the teacher if I could go to the bathroom and left the classroom as fast as I could. I had to know what was going on with that group. Kaden and Blair were already gone, but I needed to find them.
I snuck outside of the school and looked around making sure not to get caught by school security guards. There was a faint noise coming from the woods that sounded like howling. The cold wind picked up the noise and led the noise to my ears. I followed though I was afraid, but I needed answers.
I walked into the woods quietly. I didn't want to make a sound to scare off whatever it was making the noise. I called out quietly, but the fact that I was scared, my call for someone to hear me was so low I could barely hear myself.
"Hello?" I froze in my tracks when I saw them. It was big, furry, scary wolves. I fell back into the wood's ground. One of the wolves turned to the crunching noise that I made from falling. The wolf got curious and growled at where the sound came from. It was five of them and they were all huge!
I covered my mouth to keep myself from screaming. The wolf had brown fur with some spots of white and began to sniff around. I tried to back away as quietly as possible. It got closer until it finally reached me. I became paralyzed at first, then finally I began to run. I didn't know where to run, but I ran where my feet lead me.
I ran as fast as I could. I could hear the thundering of the wolf's paws as it ran behind me. I couldn't tell if the pounding was from the wolf's paws against the ground or was it my heart pounding in my ears. My heart was racing and my legs began to hurt, but I continued to run. The wolf began to pant and it's thundering pace grew faster. I ran, but wanted to look back to see how close it was. I could tell the wolf was a male because it had the aggression and hunger of a male wolf.
I stumbled a bit from looking back. Realizing my fault, I began to look forward. I ran even faster. My lungs burned with each step I took. I new if I didn't stop I was going to pass out. I turned a corner with trees to shield me and looked back. I thought that it was over because I saw that the wolf wasn't behind me, but it was far from over. Another wolf of black fur was near me and it growled. I began to run again not looking back. This wolf was bigger and more agressive. I ran as fast as I could and fell into a small ditch. I couldn't hear any thundering anymore.
The wolf probably got tired of chasing me or doesn't know where I fell. I thought. I leaned against a tree and panted for air. I began to feel relieved that I was okay, but it was quickly replaced by fear when I heard the trees rustling.
I braced myself until I heard: "Isabella."
I opened my eyes to see a shirtless and sweaty Kaden. I stood up from the ditch and slowly backed away shaking my head."Kaden...what are you?" I said with fear in my voice and feeling dizzy. Kaden took a step closer to me until each time I moved back. The dizziness I felt began to overwhelm me until finally I fainted into his arms.
