Chapter 1: Sunset

Jay POV

"So, what are we going to do Brotha!"  My little sister Mimi said, chasing after me. I thought. "Let's go climb trees!" i said. There was this one tree, it was very tall, a redwood tree. My enemy tree. I watch her face change into thinking mode, then she smiled once more. "Okie,Brotha!" . When we reach there were panting, but it was worth it. "This is Tree-Tim!" i say turning around to reveal my best friend to my little sister. "WOW HE SO BIG" Mimi said, really surprised. I grab a limb, and started climbing, Mimi right behind me. "Mimi, when we reach the top lets say were back from Narnia!"  She giggled. "But a closet has to up there Brotha!" I laugh. I reach my  hand for this one branch, but it broke and i was left dangling. "WAH" i screamed. Mimi was a couple limbs behind me. "BROTHA WATCH OUT" she yelled, a worried expression on her face. 

I smile, to make sure to her, i am not dying. Not today, Not right now. "DON'T WORRY MIMI"  Worry. "I'LL BE OK" I will. "DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID" Please. "Ok Brotha!" Mimi and started climbing.I let Mimi go infront of me beacuse she said i was slow. Why. We was right there. We was almost there. We could of came back from Narnia, smiling,laughing. Why.Mimi. "HEY BROTHA I SEE Th-" Snap. "AHHHHH" her high screamed hurted my ears. "MIMI NO!" I reached my hand out and grabbed her by the dress, i was so lucky. I was the last person to touch her.... "HELP ME HELP MY SISTER HELP" i screamed. I started choking on my tears. And as if the tree didn't like me anymore,my branch snapped,causing me and her topping down. "AHHHHH" we both screamed. Why. WHY.  The tree stopped my fall, but not Mimi. Not Mimi. I heard a crack. I was scared. "Mimi" i yelled. I looked down. There she was her brown hair,spatter with blood. Her eyes no longer moving. "MIMI NOO MOMMY HELP ME HELP MY SISTER SOMEONE" Why ,Why? I climb the rest down, and ran to Mimi. "Hey...broda" she gasped. She was still alive! SHES OK, SHES NOT GONE. "Ye-yes, Mimi" She tried to smile. "I love you" she stopped. She gone. My Mimi shes..

I screamed. A bad dream. I fixed my purple hair out of my face. "Mimi..Happy Birthday" i whispered. 

I couldn't go back to sleep. I don't want to see a smiling Mimi, I don't want to see her cry, i dont want to see her dead. Not again. I look at the window. It was dawn. The day Mimi was born, and the day she also died. I shake my head. Pity comes in. Why pity? Then anger. 'Your so stupid, how you let your little sister die' my brain told me. 'Who fault was it? It was yours, go kill yourself' I started crying. What the hell, I just lost to myself. Now im crying. Im weak,i don't deserve to live. I don't to live when Mimi..,when Mimi is gone cause of me. I look at all the scars i caused, they were in a M shape. Too prove that i will live for Mimi. A weak smile forms. Because im living for Mimi. She would let me live. She would want me to.  I shake my head and go on my phone. My childhood friend, well Mimi childhood friend, sent me 24 text messages and 4 phone calls. What the actual... I look at some of then. 'Dear Jay-Bird, I love you and so does Mimi, don't even try to kill your self because you are worth it. Your the only person i would spend my life with, if Mimi was alive it would be her xD.  Also, it's Mimi birthday, don't forget to get her something.' I smiled. Thanks Aki" I whispered. I guess i drifted to sleep because when i woke up Akikio was doing her usual clean up in my room. Shit. I forgot we had school. 

"JAY COME ON GET UP" Akikio yelled. I groaned as i got up. My purple hair was in my face. I looked at Akikio. She was wearing a gorgeous dress. She threw me a tux. "Don't forget we have picture day today" She giggled. I laugh. I slip on my clothes inside my bathroom. When we was younger me and Akikio bathe together when i decided to play in the mud, and start making mud balls and throw it at her.  It was a good time. I come  out and fix my hair. "Bleh, Tuxes are so weird!" i admit. Akikio laughs. My mother comes into my room, a sad smile on her face. "Hello my little birds." She says. She used to call us the Daiki Birds. Daiki means great glory. "You look so handsome Jay" my mom says. I look at her,Her purple hair that i have and her blue eyes. I have my father multi-color eyes. Green and Blue. Akikio says it cute, but i usually have my bangs to cover one eye. Which is always the blue one. I smile. "Thanks mum" I say. "Get out of her now, the Prince and Princess can't be late now!" my mother says winking. I laugh and so does Akikio. We used to say that we'll get married, and Mimi can be a bridesmaid. Of course we were just kids so non of that would of happened. Definitely since Mimi isn't here. As we reach school, Chole is talking about how hot her new boyfriend is. I playfully roll my eyes. "Hey Aki" i say. "Yes?"  "How is your boyfriend doing?" i ask. She looks down. "Being a ass, like always" she mumbles. "If you want i could-" She put a hand in my face and kisses my cheek. "It's fine Jay, really" Akikio smiles. I little blush appears on my face. "Ok, I believe you.." i say. As i walk into the classroom, tons of eyes land on me. Most from the girls, some from boys but they hide it better then the rest. "Omg JAY YOU LOOK SO CUTE" Chika gasps. Chika is a small yellow haired girl.  I smile and pat her head. I remember her saying. "Im sorry your sister died, i really liked her, i also liked you and i was wonder if you can be my boyfweind?" But then Akikio started yelling that 'He's Mine, NO NO NO, GO AWAY'  It was scary at the time, but now it's funny to laugh at.  "Thanks Chika, same to you!" Chika was wearing a poka dot dress. Being a big fan of Five Nights At Freddy, that's  probably the reason she wearing that dress. She smiled and laugh.  Hours past and as My mother, Akikio, Chika and I is walking to the graveyard,the sun is at the time. At sunset,when she died.
