Everyone has a story. The goth girl that hides in the corner, she's being abused. The bully that makes fun of you, he works 15 hours a day to make money for his family. The super thin foreign girl that gets all the guys, she has anorexia. Everyone has a story, and every story is different. Well today, I'm going to tell you my story.
My name, I'm Ava. And I'm an angel. It's my job to help the humans on earth. Yeah, all those people I've mentioned before, I helped them. And when I've done my five year check in, they've been doing just fine. Each time I go through the same routine. First, I'm assigned to a human, and I have to do all my research about them so I know how to help them. Then, after I know all about them, I enter their dreams and talk to them. I call these, Wisdom Dreams, mainly because everyone thinks it's their conscience talking to them. After three days of these Wisdom Dreams, I ask if they want my help. If they say yes, and they always say yes, I reveal myself to them in their dreams, and then in the morning they find they can see me around them. See, the thing about angels is only our humans can see us, we are invisible to everyone else. So keep that in mind, you may be talking to someone who has an angel right beside them. Then, I help them. This is the part where each time it changes. Each problem takes a different time to solve. After I help them, I go back up to Heaven, and make a file about the human and place it in the Solved folder. And wait for my next assignment.
Every time, it's the same thing. But, the story I'm about to tell you is a different story. It's a story of a boy named Ryder. Now, Ryder was a special boy. I found him one day when I was helping a teenager named Rain. She went to school with Ryder. The special thing about Ryder, is that he was completely bad through and through. There wasn't an ounce of good in his soul. I saw this, and even though I was afraid, I was also very intrigued about this odd boy.
After I finished up with Rain, I was hoping I would be placed with Ryder. Instead, I saw a Special Terms Angel was assigned to him. See, Special Terms Angels are assigned to all the bad people out there. I watched Ryder as I waited for my next assignment. The Special Terms Angel entered his dreams for three days, and then something unusual happened, Ryder said no. He didn't want help.
This is where our story begins...
