Chapter Twenty-One

*Liv's P.O.V*
I woke up the next morning honestly feeling amazing. It was my first time having sex last night and I was so glad it was with Mikey. It was perfect. I looked next too me to see a naked Mikey cuddling me snoring gently with his head on my breast. I smiled to myself and kissed his head. It was quite early, about 8am and I don't know why I'm awake so early. But oh well. Today me, Soph, Mikey, derek, Rory, amelia and Bryce were going bowling them back to Bryce's for pizza. Then we were all going home tonight as we all start college again tomorrow after a few weeks off for Easter. I guess I was exited to start college in America because it's supposed to be so cool but I'm also scared: what if people stare? Say stuff? I mean I am still in my wheelchair after all. Nobody wants to be friends with the disabled kid. I stayed laying there for an hour maybe until Mikey finally woke up.

I looked at him smiling and he smiled back. "Good morning princess" he kissed me softly then down my body before coming back up. "You ok?" He looked serious. "Erm yeah why wouldn't I be?" "I was just checking because of last night" I nodded smiling and he smiled back before jumping up and pulling some jeans on. I got up slowly getting my balance and put one of his tops on before climbing into my chair. He pushed me out and into the living room. I could smell bacon being made and sophie popped her head round the kitchen door. I giggled slightly but smiled and climbed out of my chair sitting on the sofa. As I did so, Mikey joined me and wrapped his arms around me.

Finally sophie had finished breakfast and she came in with Derek and we all out the food. We had a chat and a giggle before it was time for me to go to physio. After physio we were going bowling which I was  looking forward to and not as I'd be the one who uses the baby pusher thing. I had asked Mikey to come with me today because i didn't want to do this alone. We both got changed and said goodbye to Derek and sophie before leaving and walking to the place. I walked in and waited for my name to be called. I just sat there nervously and Mikey held my hand looking at me. "Hey it'll be okay" I nodded and kissed him when I heard my name. Mikey pushed me into the room and stood there was a nice looking lady who had blonde hair and a smile on her face.

"Hi I'm Clara and I'm your physio therapist for the next few weeks. We're gonna start of easy today so I'd like you to stand up please. " I nodded smiling and got up. The session went on for an hour and she was honestly so kind. Mikey was supportive and I knew I was succeeding well. We thanked Clara for the session before leaving the building and walking back to the house. I saw more cars and realised that Rory, Amelia and Bryce must be here now. But then I saw a police car.

*Bryce's P.O.V*
I'd been at the house for about 30 minutes waiting for liv and Mikey to get back when there was a knock on the door. Ooh they must be here or it could be Rory as we were waiting for him too. Everyone was idle and stayed on the couch so I stood up and answered the door. Stood there was not who we expected. Not Rory. not Liv. Not Mikey. But 2 police men. "Hello, may we come in?" One asked looking at me. I nodded and then allowed ten in closing the door behind them. Everyone shot up looking at them. "Officers; what's going on?" I asked curiously as I sat down. They sighed and looked at us all. "A boy has been stabbed in the mall and we found out that it's Rory Fitzpatrick." OMG. "No!" amelia said crying. I pulled her in and held her. "He's in a stable condition and currently at hospital. He said he didn't want his parents he wanted you guys." They carried on talking but none of it was going on. What if Rory's ok now but something bad happens?

I then looked alongside everyone else as Mikey and Liv strolled in. They froze and looked at the police, confused and scared. "Erm what's going on?" Mikey said wheeling liv over. We all sighed and explained what was going on. Mikey just seemed so shocked and a few tears fell from Liv's face. It was so hard hearing this because Rory could have been seriously hurt. The police left and we all agreed that it's best not all of us go and see him due to too many people being there. "Right so bowling will have to be another day. Me and Amelia will go up now for a few hours and update you all on anything." I stood up with amelia.

Amelia stood up and told me to wait a second and walked over to liv. Liv slowly stood up out of her chair and placed her hands on both of Amelia's shoulders looking at her. "He'll be okay. You'll be okay. I know it's hard and hospitals arnt great I should know. But stay strong ok?" She smiled slightly and amelia smiled nodding back. I took Amelia's hand and walked to the car hoping everything was going to be okay and we both climbed in. Amelia just stayed silent for the whole journey and it was strange. She was either talking loads of singing in car journeys. I hated this. I drove for a while until I finally reached the hospital and parked the car. We both climbed out and went inside straight over to the receptionist. "Rory Fitzpatrick please?" I said amelia holding my hand shaking slightly. The nurse nodded and told us to follow her. So we did.

I stopped at the window of Rory's room to see him sleeping with a wound on his chest. He was lucky. The wound was so close to his heart and god knows what it would have been like if it was his heart. Amelia and I walked in slowly. We didn't want to wake him as sleep and rest was what we needed so I sat on the chair next to his bedside and let amelia sit on my lap as there was only one chair. She gently held his hand kissing the top of it and letting a tear fall. Moments later Rory flickered his eyes and woke up. "Baby? Bryce?" He looked at us and we smiled. "Im so sorry Amelia." He sighed. She kissed his forehead gently. "You have nothing to be sorry for. What happened Rory?" "I went to the mall to get some stuff before coming and these group of lads were trying to steal from an old women so I tried to help and they pulled out a knife on me." He let a tear fall.

I never see my mates cry so when they do I know it's serious or the situation means something to them. "Bro don't be ashamed. You were trying to do the right thing. They've said you'll be out in a few days hopefully. Amelia, Mikey and Liv will come and see you tomorrow after college and sophie and Derek will be up throughout the day ok? As for now get some rest. Well stop for a while then leave." He nodded and closed his eyes. I watched as a couple of tears fell before he fell asleep. I looked at amelia and she had fallen asleep on me too. I picked her up and carried her to the car.
