        My machine is spectacular. Just looking at it gives me chills. It's two 8-ft tall, 6-ft wide circular arches that stand side by side. They are not connected by anything, though, to make it easy to transport because, trust me, people will want to use these. I mean, who wouldn't? You can teleport virtually anywhere! I haven't tested out my theory yet, but if my tests and statistics are correct, then we could drop one of the arches on an entirely different planet and be able to go there with ease!! It could save millions of dollars that would be spent in building a shuttle and saving fuel to fly there! It's amazing!

        I go up to the panel on the arch closest to me. I open it up to reveal many buttons and nobs and such. Of course, I know what each and every single one does. I press a button, then a few jobs press some more buttons, and the thing turns on. I do the same to the other. Unfortunately, these things take up A LOT of electricity, but, I made it so that they could also run on solar power, but I cannot take these outside. Everyone would see them, and nobody is allowed to, not even Lilly.

        Once both machines are powered on i run a few tests to make sure they work. Lighting is right, electric waves seem safe, everything seems right. Now it's time to teleport.

        I go over to my freezer in the corner of my garage. I grab a banana out if it and place it on the platform of the left-most machine. I go back over to the panel. Oh wait! I run over to the front of my garage and turn on the camera I have sitting there. I run back to the panel and say really loudly, "Kimberly Hombs. Teleportation Machine. Date: March 26th, 2028. Test #1102. Begin." I then press the Green button at the very top of the panel and a bright light fills the garage. It's a good thing I removed all of the windows. I open my eyes and the banana on the platform is gone. I look to the other arch. It's there! This isn't the first time it's happened, but it's always a rush when something you hope will go right does. I jump up and down, say "Test End,", and run over to the banana and pick it up. I kiss it a few times then put it back down, realizing how weird that was.

        I go back over to the freezer and pluck an apple and place it next to the banana. I say the same thing from before except now it's Test #1103. I press the big green button once more and the same bright light fills the room. I'll have to see if I could get that to die down some. Once again, the banana is gone-this time with the apple-and it's on the other platform. Again, I say, "Test End" and waltz over to the fruit and berry(a banana is a Berry I swear).

         I do this for hours, adding more and more objects. Each time is successful. Each time I have a little victory dance.

        I finally end on Test #1134. It may seem like a lot, but I have run 100 tests in the span of 8 hours before. This is nothing. I put all the fruit back, after checking for any damage on them. There is nothing except a bite out of an apple I took a while ago. I put that apple on my workbench and put everything else back. I walk out of the garage-after powering everything down and turning off the camera-with my apple and go into my room. I look at the clock. "3:26" it says. I smile to myself. I never knew I had this much determination in me. Especially after what happened 10 years ago...

~~~~~~~ FLASHBACK ~~~~~~~~~
        I look at their faces. All I see is shock and pain. I start to become shocked. My mother stands slowly with tears filling her eyes. I feel the tears well up in my eyes too. My father stands too and I cower in my chair. "You are to pack up your things and leave immediately, since you wish to do so anyway," he says in a harsh and cold tone. I slowly nod my head and turn to the stairs. "You have two hours," he says once more. I run up the stairs. Why are they over-reacting so hard? I throw open my closet and pull out my suitcase. I fill it with as much stuff as I can. Tears are pouring down my face as the suitcase becomes more and more full. I look to the clock in my wall. It's been an hour already. I zip it up and run back downstairs. My parents are sitting at the dining room table as I run out the door. They don't say a word, but look me in the eyes with so much remorse that I think they're going to tell me to stay.
        They don't.
        I cry even harder. How could they tell their only daughter-who is fucking 17-to just get out?! Where am I supposed to go?! I just keep running until I suddenly stop at a house. It's Lilly's. I go up to the door and knock. Her mother steps out. "Oh! Kimberly, what are you doing here?" Mrs. Janice says in a sweet, yet worried tone. Mr. Oliver steps up beside her. "Honey, it's 10:00, what are you doing here?" Lilly comes down the stairs. I look her straight in the eye and she immediately knows what happened. "Mom, Dad, Kim needs a new home now."
What's up my peeps? So this chapter gave you an insight on Kimberly's life. But! There will be more! I'm now gonna leave you guys like that. What? You think I'm that mean? Nah... ANYWAY! Yes, Kim was thrown out of her house by her parents at 17, but they have a reason! (even if I don't agree with it)
