Torn

"Josh!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I couldn't do anything else but scream his name. Just moments ago we were at the movie theaters holding hands and laughing. Now he was on the other side of the huge crack in the mall. An earthquake had caused the tectonic plates to collide with tremendous force. "Madison!" He yelled for me.

My eyes filled with tears. My boyfriend was on the other side. Soon we would have to evacuate and I didn't know where we would meet up. All the telephone lines were down how would I find him in all this mess?

Even in the dim light supported from the almost run down movie theater, he stood there looking so.. So... God damn perfect. Snap out if it madi. Yes, he's your boyfriend, But your also in the worst case scenerio literally we were being teared apart. The tears streamed down my face.

"Baby, don't cry I'll find you."

He said with a reassuring smile. Then it went black. The ground shaking once again and I screamed in desperation for it to stop.
