The officers in the building all turned and stared.

"What did you say?" Someone asked.

"I said that the Joker is not dead and I have proof." Olivia repeated.

"Stupid girl, we already tested the body for proof. The Joker is dead."

"It's not his body." She replied shortly.

"Then whose is it?!?" Another officer chimed in rudely.

"I told you I have proof." The officers were quiet for a minute before making their decision.

"Alright let's get Gordon down here, someone call him up." Although they would talk to her, the officers did not seem convinced and obviously didn't believe her.

But Gordon obviously did. He had made his way to the station in a matter of minutes. His face clearly showed that he was nervous. He snapped at the officers when he walked in.

"Why wasn't she being questioned already!?! Don't you realize how serious this is?!?" Gordon yelled. He made a phone call before pulling Olivia into another room. He sat her down in a chair, left for a few minutes, and pulled in someone else before coming back.

"Have a seat Mr. Wane." Gordon took a seat next to him. Olivia was a bit surprised to see THE Bruce Wane in front of her, but played it cool. He looked quite upset today. A frown upon his face, brows furrowed slightly, and eyes seeming soft and sad. She wondered what was wrong, but ignored the thoughts about it.

"Shouldn't you be out partying or something," Olivia smirked. Bruce was about to respond when he was cut off by Gordon.

"This is no time for laughs, what you have claimed to prove is a very serious matter. Now tell us exactly what happened and show us your evidence to close the case." He moved slightly in his seat and leaned forward. Bruce hit the button on a tape recorder to begin the recording for later purpose.

"I was about to enter my house after work this afternoon, when I found my door unlocked. Knowing that me and my sister, my only living family, who lives with me, always lock the door. I immediately entered and looked around the house for my sister. I eventually entered the kitchen. There was blood everywhere. Pools of it... I- I nearly vomited. There was no one there, but there was this note," Olivia released the crumpled up note for the first time since she came to. She handed it to Bruce.

Bruce read the note as his sad look faded into an angry one. He placed the note on the table trying not to crumple it up out of anger.

"Continue.." Gordon said.

"Yes. Well. Basically, I followed his instructions and met him in the park. I recorded the conversation in case he tried to kill me. You can listen to the rest," Olivia took out the recording she hit the play button.

"Hello... I felt it only fair that you know this... your sister is dead. Time of death 9:32. Cause of death... me!"

*Psychotic laugh*

After hearing the recording Bruce said, "How could he fooled us so easily.. all of it was a lie. I just don't understand."

"Thank you for your contribution to this case. We appreciate it greatly and will return the body to your hands after cleaning it up. I am sorry for your loss. You might as well go now and we will contact you tomorrow." Gordon explained. Olivia nodded and made her way home.

AN: Hey guys sorry the chapters have been shorter lately. They have all been build up. As you may know already, the story is almost over. I haven't decided who is going to win the big fight. But the next chapter is going to be the big show down before the end of the book. So yeah. Sorry if you want longer chapters, I am working on a huge one! Alright that's all for now. Hope you enjoyed, bbyyeee!
