"Excited?"  Ross asked as he drove to the venue.

"It's a little weird to not be going as an audience member, but yeah. I'm excited."  I said.

"You're still an audience member..."  He said flipping on a turn signal.

"Yeah, but not a normal one."  I paused adjusting in my seat and leaning forward. "I mean, people might actually know me."

"And that's fine."  He said as we arrived.

The venue was huge. "Is this sold out?"  I asked looking at all the space inside.

"Yup."  He said looking out also.

"Wow.."  I said astonished.

"Ross come help set up!"  Someone yelled from a distance.

"C'mon."  He said pulling my arm.  I got dragged over to the back of a truck where people were walking back and forth carrying stuff for the show.

"Ross grab that box."  Riker said as he trudged away quickly holding a heavy looking box.

"Do you want some help?"  I called to Riker as he was already passing me.

"Nope."  He kept walking as Ross grabbed the box and started following his brother.

"Do you want me to grab something?"  I asked as he walked away.

"Nah, we got it."  I stood there awkwardly watching every body pass me.  I wanted to help, not feel helpless Ross finally came back.

"Okay I'm grabbing something."  I said to myself then walked to the truck grabbing anything.

"Alright."  He looked around then handed me a guitar case as he grabbed another box.  I followed how behind him as we walked out onto the stage.  I put the stuff down where he said to.

We made a few more trips until all of the equipment was set up and ready to go for later.  It took about an hour to bring the stuff in and an hour to set it up.

"You do that everyday on tour?"  I asked, that seemed like a lot of work for everyday.

"Not exactly that, we have different stuff for tour.  But I guess so...yeah."  He answered and walked to a different area of the stage.

"So what's now?"

"We get to chill for a while."  He said sitting down on an empty box.  "Meet and Greets don't start until about five, then we start at seven."

"Why are we so early?"

"In case we were late."  He paused. "Or if something got screwed up."

I sat down on the box with him.  "Can we look around?  I'm not on stages like this very often."  I laughed.

"Yeah."  He said standing up. He took me down the hall to a little kitchen and sitting room.  "There really isn't much at this one."

"What is this like, boring?"  I asked curious.

"A little."  He grabbed the door frame and swung himself around it out of the room. "This is where all the sound stuff is." He pointed to a closed door.   I watched his converse step along the ground,  as he walked me back to the little kitchen area.   He leaned back on the counter and I sat down on a chair across from him. Rocky followed in behind us with a cup of yogurt.

"Hey."  Rocky said then stopped at Ross, looking at me.  "Did you give it to her?"  He pointed his spoon at Ross, and I perked up.

"Really?"  Ross raised his eyebrows at Rocky.  "And no. I didn't it."  He added.

"What?"  I asked confused standing up.

Ross gave Rocky a death stair as he reached into his jacket pocket.  "I was going to wait, but..."  He motioned his head to Rocky. "Here."  He started to hand me a little black box as Riker walked in the door rushing.

"Guys they need us on the stage right now."  Riker said.

"Right now?"  Rocky asked setting down his yogurt.

"Yeah."  Riker said then gave Ross a sort of look that said 'let's go.'  Then Rocky and Riker left down the hallway.

"Okay well," He paused thinking, "here."  He said and alga died me the box.  I was about to open it but Rydel walked by telling Ross to come with her. "I have to go..do that."  He said awkwardly pointing away with his thumbs.

"Okay..."  I let my words linger.

"I'll see you later."  He pecked my cheek then left the room in a hurry.   My eyes followed him as he went.  I carried myself to go lean against the counter, looking out the door as if to see if someone was coming.

The little box squeaked open and it was full of a long silver chain.  I pulled it out and held it up, it was a necklace.  Dangling at the bottom were two glittering charms, both letters. One was a B, the other an R.

I smiled to myself and looked around again. I I clipped the clasp for the piece of jewelry and hung it around my neck.  Then I headed out the door as I untucked my hair from the chain.

I didn't know where I was going, and without a guide for this venue, it felt like a maze. Then I noticed I was heading closer to the noise of people talking. I walked around the corner, seeing the band lined up ready for meet and greets. I leaned against the wall watching as the first group of girls came over to them giggling and happy as ever.  They hooked their arms around them all and posed for the camera. I saw Ross look over at me in a quick glance, then back at the camera.  Apparently he didn't catch that it was me he glanced at and looked back at me.  He looked in my eyes then pointed his eyes back at the camera to smile. But I could tell that he wasn't just smiling because he was in a picture.
