Annabelle's POV

I quickly forced my eyes open as I heard a beeping noise. My vision was slightly blured so I kept blinking until I could finally see clearly. I felt the oxygen nodules in my nose and the IV in my left hand. What had I gotten myself into? How could I not be dead after everything that had happened. That's when I heard his voice, Jackson's voice.

"I think she's awake." Jackson said. His voice sounded hopeful, like he was surprised.

I could hear faint stirring around the room and a hand grabbing my right hand gently.

"Annabelle." Daddy whispered.

I slowly turned my head over to him. Tears ran down both of our faces. I knew I had been in bad shape when I saw every single person in the room crying including Aisy.

"Oh Daddy." I sobbed. "I'm so sorry. I should have told you and Momma."

He wouldn't let me finish apologizing. He beant over and kissed my face like ten times. My father, the Hunter Hayes, refused to let go of my hand. After a dozen more kisses from Momma, Aisy and Jackson, the Doctor came in to check on me. She proceeded to explain to me that I had a broken arm, broken leg, and even broken ribs. No wonder I couldn't breath or move. The doctor told me if everything went well, I would most likely be in the hospital for about a week for observation, and then I would have to miss the rest of the school year. Momma and Daddy then explained how the three girls who beat the living shit out of me were found and punished. They actually all had court dates set up, and both of my parents were hoping the judge sent them all to Juvi.

After talking to everyone for a while and having a Grandma and Grandpa come visit, everyone was worn out. I knew nobody had gotten any sleep since the incident. They had been waiting on me to wake up.

"I was really scared ya know." Jackson said, his voice quivering.

I took a deep breath and then sighed.

"Yeah, I know." I replied.

"Those girls are bitches." He said.

I looked around to see if Momma and Daddy were going to say something about him cussing, but they were both asleep. When I looked back over at him we both giggled.

"What they did to you was wrong." Jackson explained. "The school should have done something about it when the first black eye happened. Its not fair how they treat the popular kids differently."

I slowly nodded in agreement. Jackson had took me to the principal's office first thing after he had realized I had been punched by one of the girls. The principal just shrugged it off as if nothing happened. School sucked, especially our high school. I knew once I was fully healed and recovered, I would never be allowed to go back to my old high school, and neither would Jackson. Daddy would make sure we would go to the perfect school where we would both fit in with ease. I sort of hoped he might get Momma to home school the three of us. I would rather be at home then be at school any day. Especially if I didn't have to put up with that bully crap anymore.

After a week of staying in the hospital, I was allowed to go home. I still couldn't do anything without having someone help me. Even taking a shower was a challenge. I had a cast on my arm, a cast on my leg, and a big bandage wrapped around my torso area for my ribs. Plus I had to take tons of pain meds which made me sleep almost all day. Daddy had been working on a new album, I could hear him from his studio upstairs. One day when I was laying in bed reading a Seventeen magazine, I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in." I said, tossing the magazine aside.

It was Daddy. He opened the door with one hand and carried his keyboard in the other. I watched as he set up the keyboard in an empty space by my dresser.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Ever since those girls did this to you, its all I can think about." He explained. "I have had fans come up to me numerous times and tell me about how they have been bullied or are being bullied now. Baby, I understand what you went through. Though I never did get beat up, I did get made fun of a lot for being a music geek. I want you to know that its ok to be who you are. I want you to know that there are people out there just like you, who are going through the same exact thing you are. And I also want you to know that its going to be ok, that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel."

Thats when he began to play Invisble, a song that he wrote both for me, himself and for the fans. It was beautiful and heartwarming.

*sorry for such a late post guys. I have been so busy with school and work. But OMG, Invisbile is so freaking amazing.*
