Circle of Truth (18+)

Chapter One

Walking to school was always a chore for Juvia, waking up and meeting with her best friend known as Jellal Fernandes was exhausting. Fairy High was a school for the elite, the 'Fairy' part was rather unexplained but usually only those with excelling money, sports, or intelligence could attend. The two would usually get into heated debates at early times in the morning. This morning, they were having a talk about a fellow classmate. "Lucy Heartfilia bullied one of the girls in class B. Carried on for a while until that girl tried to kill herself." Jellal told Juvia, the blue haired maiden stared at the floor as she walked. She wasn't friends with Lucy, in fact they were the complete opposite of friendly, but she really could not stand someone so mean. Juvia's opinion's on Lucy was purely created from influence of others, she had never had the opportunity to get to know the girl personally. 

Being late to school was also another thing they did often. Dressed in an unfashionable manner, the homeroom teacher of class B, Carla would shout at them for their tardiness. "Sorry!" Juvia said lifting her hand up as a defeat sign.

Noticing Lucy in the corner of her eye, Juvia would purposely glare at the snickering blonde who's eyes flashed with a hint of fright at the sight of the blue haired maiden and her companion. That flash soon disappeared and Juvia was met with confrontation from the blonde woman, and her friends. These friends consisted of Erza Scarlet, Levy Mcgarden, Natsu Dragneel and Gray Fullbuster. Although not all of them were as rude as Lucy, none of them ever opposed her. They were just as guilty for her actions as she was.

"Move" Jellal would say to the blonde, his deep voice rang before the salmon haired pyromaniac took space in front of him. The two had a staring contest as Lucy and Juvia glared at each other. "I don't have time for this? Either move or I'll move you." Juvia told Lucy, her command was reasonable but nonetheless was met with a rude laugh. The rain woman would sigh. "If you're going to glare so much, you should expect people to be offended." Lucy told her, Juvia would roll her eyes as annoyance began to flow through her. "I said, move. I wont ask again." She said again. In this moment, the raven haired man had taken place next to Lucy, seemingly challenging Juvia. Juvia took a step back, her eyes taking Gray Fullbuster in all of his glory. Before she could say anything, a long, black haired friend would approach Juvia's side. Gajeel Redfox, a man known for his violent nature and brute personality, coincidentely also one of Juvia's closest friend's. "You heard her, get out of the way." He said, placing his hand on Juvia's back as he took a step next to her. Gray and Gajeel would close into each other as they head butted and tension rises. Although, she had previously learned to withdraw her anger, Juvia couldn't stand the meaningless confrontation. Clenching her small fist, she would swing it forward in a hastily manner and smash it against the Lucy's right cheek. Falling to the ground, Lucy would yelp in pain before leaping up and grabbing onto the blue hair, tugging it. Juvia did the same, kneeing the blonde in the stomach. Due to this action, Jellal and Gajeel hadn't wasted time into throwing punches at Natsu and Gray. Erza and Levy had been trying to split the fights up but even for them there was too much going on. As people gathered around them, a loud whistle would blow.

The familiarity of this whistle was present as everyone halted their actions and turned their gaze to a much shorter, older man. Principle Makarov Dreyar. He was the principle of Fairy High. "What is going on here? It's too damn early for you brats to be fighting right now. Everyone to my office!" He would order. Although he was small, he was rather frightening in a sense of intimidation. The students would reluctantly let go of each other and the 8 of them would make their way into his office. A red themed room with a circling black chair and red wood desk would sit at the middle of the room. Black leather couches were present and each student would take a seat. "Now, even despite this altercation all of you have been reported by students continuously! And I must take action. From this week forth all of you will assist in cleaning the library after hours." The old voice would announce, although he was met with arguments. "What reports? What did we do?" Jellal asked the old man who seemed to chuckle at the students obliviousness. He proceeded to pull out a list and started reading. "Juvia Lockser, excessive hostility towards students and teachers, Jellal Fernandes and Gajeel Redfox, violence towards students AND teachers." Makarov would say, taking a pause to witness the reclining expressions on the three students faces. He began reading again. "Lucy Heartfilia, continuous bullying of students. Natsu Dragneel, inappropriate use of facility toilets. Gray Fullbuster, violence towards teachers. Levy Mcgarden and Erza Scarlet, charging for sleeping pills and tutoring to vulnerable students." He finished his list, by this point everyone was dead silent. Some finding that others actions were worse than their own, but nonetheless acknowledging their wrongdoings. "Any complaints?" Makarov would ask, only to be met with an array of disagreements as they all stood up and began to disperse out of the door.
