Me and my herd galloped through the wet sands of hunstanton, the glorious waves were crashing at our fetlocks and swaying us side ways. We were running our normal morning gallop except this time to the new home , as lead mare I was investigating it all winter and spring. It had gorgeous lush green grass bordering off the crystal clear drinking lake that was surrounded by sheltering trees that huddle together. Mystic and Bluebell are my two daughtersI had them with my stallion flame, my name is Goldie.
By the time I had finished telling you about our lovely new home we had almost got there, I called out " whoa everyone easy now I'll come up front to lead you ,we're almost there" I circled round to the front of the herd, Minnie my sister called out from somewhere behind me "Goldie how long have we got to go now"
"Only a few metres" I replied. We entered the forest, mystic and bluebell were splashing around in the crystal clear lake."steady now you two that water is for drinking only don't go and get it dirty, there's another lake on the far side of the forest go and use that one there!" I shouted at them. Dusk was arriving and the skies were getting darker I called out to the herd, "its getting late follow me to the resting cave " I galloped in till we reached the resting cave . Then I remembered that mystic and bluebell were still at the lake on the other side of the forest." Flame the girls are still on the other side of the forest"I said shyly
"Don't worry I'll go get them" he said courageously. They soon returned home for a gentle rest after a hard days work galloping along for hours.
