You Chose Me (a Zach Herron Fanfic)

day off

*Zach's POV*
*6/27/18*

Today we have a day off, the guys and I are going out with Hailey and Alexis to sight see around Las Vegas. We flew in last night, and it's now 1:30 in the afternoon.

We have been on tour for about a month now and it's been so much fun. We have been to so many cities, met so many fans, and almost every show has been sold out. Alexis and I haven't been on good terms lately. We are constantly fighting and it's getting old.

Jack and Hailey have been all over each other in the past couple of weeks and Jack told the guys and I that he was planning on asking her to be his girlfriend. I mean she's gorgeous, down to earth, and she's super nice but i'm stuck with Alexis.

Don't get me wrong, at first I genuinely really did like Alexis, but as time went on she started to become rude and controlling. I think that maybe at first she did like me but now she's only using me. She also freaks out if I even look at Hailey, nevertheless talk to her and it's super annoying. I really want to break up with Alexis but I don't know how and i'm scared she's going to make a huge deal out of it with the public and make me and the guys look bad.

I don't know I just really wish Alexis would just go back to her old self. Change is a good and it's okay to change, but if you're going to change in a bad way then it's not good anymore.

*Jack's POV*

I'm going to ask Hailey out today. We have no show tonight so we are allowed to go out an sight see for a little today. Since we have no show i'm going to ask Hailey if she wants to go out to dinner and afterwards i'm going to ask her. I found this super nice restaurant with a patio and lights stringing all around. I think it would be the perfect place to ask her right after we finish eating.

I just really hope she says yes.

*Hailey's POV*
*2:00 PM*

The guys, Alexis, and I have been walking around for a while now. We've gone shopping and walked around but since we are all still teens there isn't much for us to do in Las Vegas.

We decided to head back to the hotel since we are all literally dying of heat and just want to get into some air conditioning and lay in bed.

Once we arrived Jack walked up to me,

"Hey wanna hang out for a little bit?"
"Yeah sure, but let's go to my room because it's super hot and I want to change into lighter clothes."
"okay" Jack smiled

I was in denim shorts and black shirt with 3/4 sleeves and my hair was down, I was literally dying.

We walked up to my room and I pulled my card to get into the room out of my wallet and swiped it. We walked in and I grabbed some red nike shorts and a black tank top and walked into the bathroom. I changed quickly and then threw my hair up into a ponytail.

I walked out and saw Jack sitting in the edge on his phone. He immediately looked up and smiled at me, ugh he's so adorable I can't.

"You look cute" he smiled at me.

I looked down to the floor as I felt my cheeks heat up. I smiled and looked back up before walking over to the bed and siting next to him.

*Jack's POV*

I can't wait until tonight.

*Hailey's POV*

After I sat down, Jack turned his body to me. I turned mine so I was sitting in front of him.

Jack looked at me and he looked super nervous. He took in a deep breath before looking into my eyes.

"So I was going to take you out for dinner tonight and ask you a really important question. Although I think me taking you out to dinner and asking you is sweet and all, in this moment right now I think asking you would be perfect. I'm not putting pressure on myself all day and i'm not putting pressure on you to answer in front of many people. Hailey, I really like you and I just really want to know, Will you be my girlfriend?"

Wait what.

Did Jack just ask me to be his girlfriend?

"Yes" I said and he immediately cupped his hands on my cheeks and pulled me in for a kiss.

The kiss was long and I felt butterflies in my stomach, I felt great and nothing could ruin this feeling.

I know it's short i'm sorry!!
Since April 4th I've been going to school (mind you I get up at 5:30 in the morning) and then at 2:10 I get out of school. Immediately after school I walk across the street to go to drivers ed. That goes from 2:45-4:45. Once I get out of drivers ed, I have to go home and do all of my homework, eat dinner, and shower. I'm trying to do all of that while also getting to bed a decent hour which recently hasn't been happening. I hope you guys understand why I haven't been updating very much and why this chapter is short. I promise after this month I am out of drivers ed and my schedule will open up again a little bit by a couple of hours and I can really focus on this story, also summer is super close so of course I will have a lot of time to work on this story then.
